About your trip

This is your incredible opportunity to experience all the beauty and magic of Peru—including the bucket-list wonder that is Machu Picchu. From ancient cities and jaw-dropping ruins to colorful traditions and deeply rooted community connections, this journey brings you face-to-face with the soul of the Andes.

We’ll start in Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. You’ll wander its cobblestone streets, take in the colonial-meets-Incan architecture, and browse colorful markets bursting with handmade goods. In the Sacred Valley, we’ll visit impressive archaeological sites like Ollantaytambo and join in a traditional Despacho ceremony—a beautiful offering to Pachamama (Mother Earth) that grounds us in the spiritual roots of this region.

Next comes a major highlight: a 7-mile hike on the legendary Inca Trail! This moderate morning trek winds through misty forests and along stone paths built centuries ago. It all leads to the iconic Sun Gate, where you’ll get your first glimpse of Machu Picchu in all its glory. It’s one of those moments you’ll never forget—standing there in awe, surrounded by mountains, history, and a powerful sense of wonder.

From there, the adventure continues to the fascinating salt pools of Maras and the circular terraces of Moray—both incredible examples of Incan ingenuity. Then, we head to the serene shores of Lake Titicaca. You’ll boat out to the floating reed islands of the Uros people and spend the night with a welcoming host family on Amantaní Island. There, you’ll join in daily life, share stories over dinner, and soak in the peace of the lake. We’ll also explore nearby Taquile Island, known for its sweeping views and UNESCO-recognized weaving traditions.

Along the way, you’ll savor mouthwatering Andean meals, meet warm-hearted locals, and stay in a mix of boutique hotels, lakeside lodges, and that unforgettable homestay. It’s not just a trip—it’s a deep dive into the heart and spirit of Peru. Join us!
