 Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs. Your Kola Nut Travel Representative will meet you and take you to your hotel. Your evening is free for personal pursuits.

Day 2 - Giza

Land of Enchantment

 After Breakfast, you are off to see the Pyramids and the Sphinx.  Camels and horses will be available for riding at an additional cost.  Later, you can visit the Papyrus and perfumed oil shops in Giza. This evening, you might consider an optional trip back to Giza for the Sound and Light Show. It is a beautiful hour-long production with narration and lights that bounce off the monuments. It's a great way to sit out in the open and marvel at the majesty of Giza.  This is an experience you will never forget.

Day 3 - Memphis

Visit the Museum of Ramses II & Djoser Pyramid

 Today, you will see famous mosques, such as Khan El Khalili Bazaar, and take a short drive to Memphis and Sakkara.   Ramses II and a small museum will be in Memphis, and the Pyramid Djoser will be in Sakkara. Later, you will return to your hotel to prepare for your flight to meet your cruise.

Day 4 - Flight to Luxor

Luxor - The East Bank

 Today, you will see famous mosques, Khan Elkhalili Bazaar, and take a short drive to Memphis and Sakkara.   Ramses II and a small museum will be in Memphis, and the Pyramid Djoser in Sakkara.

Later, you will return to your hotel to prepare for your flight to meet your cruise.

Luxor - The West Bank

Breakfast on the Nile cruise. After that, you will start your magical tour in Thebes, the sacred land, by exploring the west bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, which is considered the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, and the place where our Pharaohs were buried. After that, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This temple is considered one of the most beautiful examples of Architecture in ancient Egypt because it was totally carved inside the mountain.  II.

Edfu - Kom Ombo

 Breakfast will be served on board your Nile cruise. Then, your tour guide will take you on a mysterious journey to the land of secrets. Today's guided tour begins by visiting one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, considered one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. After that, you will return to your ship. Lunch will be served on board during the sailing to the city of Kom Ombo.

Afternoon, you will explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two gods, Sobek & Haroeris, were worshipped for a while. Get back to your ship and enjoy your lunch.

Day 7

Aswan

 

 

Breakfast will be served on board your ship. Later, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to discover the great city of Aswan, including The High Dam, erected by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. After that, you will enjoy sailing on the Nile River by a motor boat till you reach Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Gaeco-Roman period and was dedicated to the goddess Isis (mother of god Horus). Finally, you will be escorted to one of the marvelous sights in Aswan, The Unfinished Obelisk, which is made out of red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra. After finishing your day tour, you will get back to your ship.

Departure Home

 

Check out after breakfast. Then our representative will accompany you to Aswan airport – station to take your flight to Cairo (Breakfast) **

Optional Tour: Excursion to Abu Simble temples either by private coach or by domestic flight: you will be met with our English-speaking tour guide in Aswan, who will transfer you by private A-C van to Abu Simbel, lies south of Aswan on the western bank of the Nile, 180 miles south of the First Cataract in what was Nubia. The site was known as Meha in ancient times and was first documented in the 18th Dynasty when Ay and Horemheb had rock-cut chapels hewn in the hills to the south.
