New booking ... read on. Having registered for the SPUMS 2026 Conference, you can now book your accommodation, diving and tours here. NB: All conference sessions will take place in the Palasia Hotel located in downtown Koror.
A double morning dive is offered each morning of the conference (Monday to Friday). You can select a 2, 3, 4 or 5 day package. Return hotel transfers, Nitrox and lunch are included. Palau offers a magnificent marine environment and even if not diving we encourage everyone to explore the unique Rock Islands on a day tour.
All pricing is Per Person in USD. You will be given payment options in your own currency on check out.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All rooms at Palasia Hotel are now fully booked. We have secured a further 17 rooms at Palau Central hotel which is located directly across the road. This boutique hotel has been recently renovated, with spacious, well appointed rooms that can be double or twin share configured. A full buffet breakfast is included and return airport transfer from the Qantas flight is included in the price. There is also a lift.
If you are a single delegate please select the Single Room option.
If you select a Double room - two participant names are required.
(This is so each participant can select different Add-ons if required)
Each morning there is a choice of diving, snorkelling, freediving and land trips - all of which will have you back in time for the conference sessions.
There are full day trips available before the conference days on Sunday 10 May, and Saturday 16 May. (Trips are subject to minimum numbers; we will offer alternatives if minimum numbers are not achieved).
Finally - don't miss the Cultural Evening Dinner and Show - last on the list but usually a sell out event!

There will also be local music and a short cultural performance.
Return transfers from the Palasia are included and various dietaries will be accommodated.
With all of Palau's territorial waters being a marine park, it's not wonder that every dive delivers - whether that's sharks patrolling a drop off, a channel of magnificent coral, a manta cleaning station, large schools of fish, or a myriad of marine sea scapes complete we everything from turtles to nudibranchs.
Each morning, 5 or 6 of Fish'n Fins' custom-built dive boats will head off for a double dive at one of these amazing sites. Each double dive includes pick up and drop off from the Palasia Hotel, surface interval snacks, a choice of Bento Box lunches, Nitrox if certified and of course, two fantastic dives.
We have many alternatives to diving: you can join snorkelling trips, (including a morning trip to Jellyfish Lake), freediving workshops, cultural and Rock Islands (on and in the water) tours.
This year's conference theme is free diving and we will have a number of experts presenting on this topic, its related health and safety risks and management.
The Gala Dinner will be held at the prestigious Palau Pacific Resort on the beach waterfront. Join colleagues for a sumptuous meal which features a variety of salads and sashimi, fish, chicken and beef dishes and a variety of tempting desserts.
There will also be local music and speeches.
Return transfers from the Palasia are included and various dietaries will be accommodated.
