This is the Tuscany that tourists don't get to see. Unpack and settle into our 15th century farmhouse resort, a little village actually with its own pools, restaurant and private apartments.
See and photograph the most famous landscapes and villages of the Val d'Orcia, pilgrimage sites for photographers from all over the world. Add to that secret locations that we've discovered in our 25 years photographing this region.
Being immersed into the culture of small local trattoria dining, visits with local characters and villages devoid of tourism better informs your photographs and enriches your Tuscan experience.
Inspiration is guaranteed.

10AM meet us in Florence and travel to Siena, the most beautiful medieval town in the world (in our opinion). After soaking in the history and making some great photographs, we continue on to the charming hill town of Pienza for our first two nights stay.
Move to our favorite farmhouse in Tuscany for 5 unforgettable nights. Begin each day with a delicious breakfast and views you won’t believe.
Workshop and review favorite images on the big screen, the best way to learn!
Roam the Val d'Orcia most famous places but also some lesser known photographic locations.
Dive deeper into villages and landscapes of the Crete Senesi, much less traveled but equally jaw dropping for photographers. A working monastery with wine tasting, meet ups with local characters and true Tuscan meals dot this itinerary and make it an authentic visit you won't forget.
After a farewell breakfast and a brief wrap-up in the workshop room, we get to see each guest’s favorite images from our time together.
Visit our home base of Buonconvento for market day. Tourists don't know about this place and we like it that way. Meet some great old characters and soak in the authenticity.
Reluctant goodbyes in Florence about 4PM.
