From Cape Town, we journey to Johannesburg, diving deep into South Africa’s vibrant culture. Walk the historic streets of Soweto, visit Nelson Mandela’s former home, and uncover stories of resilience and heritage.

PAYMENT

Deposit is $250 and non-refundable. Automatic payments will be set up and charged until trip is paid in full. Partial payments are allowed if you’d like to personally break down payments further. A trip can be paid off early at any time. A single payment discount rate is provided for those who would like to take advantage of this deal.


If you traveling on multiple ARI Group Trips and would like to modify preset payment dates please email ariel@arielroseinternational.com and we will work with you. 


IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

Although we welcome travelers of many ages, all travelers must be 21 by time of departure to join Ariel Rose International Group Trips.


WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

The $250 deposit is non-refundable.


You can cancel your trip up to 30 days prior to trip departure.


All trips cancelled less than 30 days before the confirmed departure dates are subject to our cancellation policy. 


No shows/No communication will be treated as cancellations and will incur 100% cancellation fees.


Kindly note we do not offer any cash refunds for trips cancelled , however, if you do cancel 30 days before your trip we offer a transfer of your balance towards a new experience or destination.

Although we will do our best to keep the schedule as you see here, travel does require flexibility. Schedules and itineraries are subject to changes, but even if something has to be changed or adjusted, we promise you’ll have a great time!

Day 1

Welcome to South Africa!

Arrival at Cape Town airport, where ARI private drivers will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel to start your visit in The Mother City!


Get comfortable, walk around or settle in.


Later, enjoy your welcome dinner at the Gold Restaurant!

Day 2

Trip to Sahara Desert

Your day starts with a private tour to Table Mountain, where you can ascend to the top, weather permitting by the revolving cable car. On a clear day it is even possible to see Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on one side and Cape Point on the other. Then continue on to SA National Park Cape of Good Hope, the most South West point of the continent. The group will enjoy a trip on “The Flying Dutchman” funicular, giving you a unique experience of Cape Point.


After, the group will visit the Boulders Penguin Colony and end the day with a visit to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Winelands Tasting Tour

The Cape Winelands is renowned for its crisp white and classic French style red wines, fantastic cheeses and olives but it also has a stunning wealth of natural rustic beauty with vast estates shaded from the African sunshine by giant oak trees and towering mountains overlooking lush valleys. Enjoy tasting some of the best wines in the world and visiting historic wineries.

Transfer to Safari Lodge

This morning the group will transfer to the airport for their flight to Joburg. From there, the group will take a two-hour drive north to our Safari Lodge.

Safari Day

Set off on a Big 5 safari, where lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo await!

Joburg Culture & History Day

Johannesburg is the economic powerhouse of South Africa. Visit the Township of Soweto which is the home of Nelson Mandela Square.


Later we will have our Farewell dinner.



Day 7

Farewell Day

All good things must come to an end. Have breakfast at your leisure and prep to head to the Johannesburg airport.
