Arrive in Calgary and spend the remainder of the day exploring on your own. Affectionately known as “Cowtown,” Calgary exudes a youthful vitality as well as frontier spirit. Just east of the Rockies, it’s a dynamic city with an ever-changing list of attractions!

Enjoy a sightseeing motorcoach tour exploring the many places of interest around Banff, including Banff Gondola, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, and the Hoodoos.

Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world's most scenic highways. 

Sightseeing Tour: 

Columbia Icefields- Board your private motorcoach and enjoy a full day sightseeing tour along the magnificent Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are  Bow Lake, the Athabasca Falls and the Columbia Icefields. This icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle as well as being one of the most accessible in North America. 

It is here you will ride a unique Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier and learn more about its geological features. Before continuing along the Icefields Parkway to Jasper.  

Ice Explorer-Tour the Athabasca Glacier in a giant six-wheel drive Ice Explorer vehicle while your guide explains the history of this ancient glacier and points out interesting geological features. Think of it like a "monster-truck meets glacier" adventure where you learn new things!  

Glacier Skywalk-Consisting of a 400 metre (1,640 feet) interpretive boardwalk and a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres (98 feet) out over the Sunwapta Valley, Glacier Skywalk takes spectacular scenery and a rare view of nature to unbelievable heights. The award-winning architecture of the Skywalk is a feat of contemporary design. 


Group Lunch at Columbia Icefield- Enjoy a buffet lunch this afternoon at the Columbia Icefield.

Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the mountain resort of Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to the charming rural town of Quesnel, gateway to the North Cariboo. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass and Moose Lake. Breakfast and lunch included onboard.

Quesnel to Whistler (B, L, & Snacks)

Your journey continues south to the four-season resort of Whistler. Highlights include sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake. Breakfast and lunch included onboard.

Whistler to Vancouver (Late Lunch and Snacks)

Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre Included-Enjoy admission to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre. Explore a collection of contemporary art, historical artifacts, and exhibits from  the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations - the original peoples of the shared territories in Whistler. Visit a traditional Istken Pithouse and Longhouse or enjoy a walk through the Salish Stroll Forest 


Enjoy your morning exploring Whistler at your leisure. In the afternoon, board the train and continue your journey west to Vancouver.  Highlights include spectacular views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains, Brandywine Falls, Mount Garibaldi and the impressive  Cheakamus Canyon.   An afternoon meal served canapé style as well as beverages, and snacks are included onboard.
