This trip can easily be paired with a short trip to the stunning city of Istanbul before or after, as most flights to Cappadocia depart from Istanbul.

Retreat Overview

Our Cappadocia retreat begins in the enchanting town of Göreme, where we settle into a beautiful cave hotel surrounded by the region’s iconic fairy chimneys and rolling valleys.

Across the retreat, we explore Cappadocia’s most spectacular landscapes — from scenic valley hikes and ancient cave settlements to artisan workshops in traditional towns. One of the highlights includes the opportunity to witness Cappadocia’s famous sunrise hot air balloons, floating peacefully above the valleys at dawn.

Midway through the retreat, we journey to Konya, the spiritual home of the beloved scholar and poet Jalal ad-Din Rumi, where we visit the Mevlana Museum and reflect on the legacy of Islamic scholarship and devotion. Throughout the experience, we balance guided exploration with moments of spaciousness — allowing time for prayer, reflection, journaling, and connection with fellow sisters.

Who Is This Retreat For?

This retreat is for Muslim women aged 20-55 from around the world who are seeking a soulful combination of Cultural discovery, Nature immersion, Spiritual reflection & Meaningful sisterhood all within a safe, supportive, faith-aligned environment.

A moderate level of walking is required, including valley walks and sightseeing. Please ensure you have moderate fitness to partake in all activities.

Note: Group airport transfers are included within the retreat package for those arriving within the recommended time window. If you are having trouble booking flights we are happy to assist, & connect you with our travel partners. There are numerous daily flights from Istanbul to Cappadocia.

Cancellation Policy

Non-Refundable Deposit

Upon registration, the retreat deposit is strictly non-refundable. This secures accommodation, transportation, and essential services.

General Refund & Cancellation Terms

Strictly Non-Refundable Payments:
All payments made toward your booking are strictly non-refundable as we pay suppliers and vendors in advance.

Late Cancellations:
Cancellations made 40 days or fewer before the retreat start date are non-refundable due to non-recoverable vendor costs.

Replacement Policy:
If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another participant who meets the retreat eligibility requirements.

By completing your booking, you confirm acceptance of these cancellation terms.

Day 1 – Arrival

Welcome to the Land of Fairy Chimneys

Welcome to Cappadocia — one of Türkiye’s most extraordinary landscapes. Upon arrival at Kayseri or Nevşehir Airport, you’ll be transferred to our beautiful cave hotel in the heart of Göreme.

After settling in and taking time to rest from travel, we gather in the evening to meet one another and begin the retreat program together. This first evening is about arriving gently — grounding ourselves in the landscape and the intention behind our journey.

We enjoy a welcome dinner together, sharing our first meal as a group while watching the sun set across Cappadocia’s dramatic valleys.

*If you arrive earlier in the day, please note that hotel check-in is typically in the afternoon. During this time you may wish to explore Göreme, enjoy a café, or enjoy extra activities before the retreat program officially begins.

Day 2 - Cappadocia

Open Air Museums & Valley Exploration

We begin the day early with the opportunity to experience one of Cappadocia’s most iconic sights — a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the valleys. This optional activity offers breathtaking views as hundreds of balloons rise gently into the morning sky above Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys and dramatic landscapes.

After breakfast, we begin exploring the region’s rich history with a visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site home to ancient cave churches carved into volcanic rock centuries ago.

We then continue through some of Cappadocia’s most beautiful natural landscapes, including Pigeon Valley and Love Valley, where towering rock formations and sweeping views invite awe at Allah’s creation.

In the afternoon, there will be time to wander Göreme’s charming streets, enjoy a Turkish tea, browse local shops, or sit quietly with your journal. We return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and prayer.

Day 3 – Avanos

Artisan Traditions & Sunset Landscapes

After Fajr prayer, morning adhkar, and breakfast, we travel to the historic town of Avanos, famous for its centuries-old pottery traditions along the Kızılırmak River.

Here we’ll take part in a traditional pottery workshop, learning about the craftsmanship that has shaped the region for generations.

Later in the day, we explore Red Valley, one of Cappadocia’s most breathtaking landscapes, known for its dramatic rock formations and glowing sunset colours.

We walk gently through the valley paths, taking in panoramic views and moments of quiet reflection before returning to the hotel.

The evening is yours to enjoy Göreme at your own pace — whether through dinner, tea with the group, a sunset horse ride, or ATV trip through the valley.

Day 4 – Konya

The City of Rumi

Today we take a special journey to Konya, one of Türkiye’s most spiritually significant cities and the resting place of the beloved scholar and poet Jalal ad-Din Rumi.

At the Mevlana Museum, we learn about Rumi’s life and legacy while reflecting on his timeless message of love, devotion, and remembrance of Allah.

We explore the surrounding historic sites and enjoy time in the city before returning to Cappadocia in the evening.

Tonight we gather for our farewell dinner, celebrating the friendships formed and the memories created during our time together.

Sunrise Skies & Journey Home

For those who wish, the morning offers one final opportunity to watch Cappadocia’s famous sunrise balloons drift peacefully across the valleys.

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for onward journeys.

As we say our goodbyes, we carry with us the landscapes we witnessed, the reflections we shared, and the sisterhood formed along the way.
