About your trip

Join us for this adventure of a lifetime across the high altitude plains of Bolivia and Chile, including the world's largest salt flat and the Atacama Desert. Join professional astrophotographer Kevin Floerke for an immersive workshop designed to sharpen your photography skills by day and night. Capture photos of otherworldly landscapes, beautiful wildlife, and the best dark skies on earth. The Salar de Uyuni sits at over 12,000 feet with very little light pollution, offering unparalleled dark skies. Make the overland journey across the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve to photograph colorful lagunas full of flamingoes, towering volcanoes, and some of the most unique landscapes on earth. End your journey in the Atacama Desert, home to the world's highest radio telescope, and another astrophotographer's bucket list destination.

Our itinerary allows for ample time for exploration and shooting while also including opportunities for group and one on one editing and feedback sessions designed to help you grow as a photographer.

This tour is offered in partnership with, and can also be booked through, Andean Photo Expeditions.
