Day 1 - Monday, May 18

Depart Marrero, LA and travel to Dallas, TX

We will depart from Marrero, Louisiana, with a pickup in Metairie, LA and travel to Dallas, Texas, where you’ll settle in for the evening.

Day 2 -Tuesday, May 19

Flowers, History and Football

Begin with a scenic drive through historic Swiss Avenue, showcasing beautiful early 20th-century homes. Spend the morning exploring the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, including lunch at the charming DeGolyer House. In the afternoon, visit the impactful Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, followed by a VIP tour of AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. Enjoy dinner at your leisure.

Day 3-Wednesday May 20

Dallas & JFK

Dive into Dallas history with a visit to Lee Harvey Oswald’s Rooming House, offering unique insights into JFK history. Enjoy lunch at Klyde Warren Park’s vibrant Food Truck Lane, then explore The Sixth Floor Museum, chronicling the life and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. Conclude the day with an evening in the lively Bishop Arts District, filled with local shops, art, and dining options.

Day 4-Thursday May 21

President George W Bush & Southfork Ranch

Discover presidential history at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, followed by lunch at Café 43 and a guided tour of the Laura W. Bush Native Texas Park. Visit the Heritage Farmstead Museum to experience Texas prairie life from the late 19th century. End the tour with an iconic visit to Southfork Ranch, famous from the TV show Dallas. Enjoy delicious included dinner before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Day 5 - Friday, May 22

Making our way back home
