This 9-Day Uganda Primates & Wildlife Adventure offers a comprehensive journey through Uganda's most iconic national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. You'll experience thrilling encounters with Rhinos, Chimpanzees, and Mountain Gorillas, explore diverse landscapes from savannas to rainforests, and cruise the mighty Nile River. Locations include Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (home of the Rhinos), Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park (home of the Chimpanzees), Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (home of the Mountain Gorillas), the scenic Lake Bunyonyi, and Lake Mburo National Park.

This is a Full-Board Adventure, which means you don't need to worry about your main meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), your lodge accommodation, transportation, or National Park and primate permits - we'll handle it all.

All Adventurers must make their own arrangement for international flights arriving into Uganda or Rwanda
All Adventurers must make their own arrangements for any domestic flights, unless indicated in the itinerary
Any visas and related fees must paid for by individual Adventurers
All Adventurers must make arrangements for their own personal Travel Insurance
Adventurers will be responsible for the cost of their own medical bills, including any relevant medication
The cost for any soft drinks or alcoholic beverages will not be included. You will have access to drinking water throughout
Laundry services are not included within the package. Most lodges offer a laundry service which will need to be paid for separately.
Any supplementary room services will be charged separately to the relevant Adventurer
Adventurers will be responsible for any fines or damages as a result of any misconduct by them
Where there are 'Optional' activities and you wish to participate, you will be billed separately. This will be discussed directly with you before you make any commitment

Your Ugandan adventure begins the moment you touch down at Entebbe International Airport (EBB). A warm welcome awaits as your professional Guide greets you and whisks you away on a scenic transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Depending on your arrival time, you'll have the incredible opportunity for your first up-close wildlife encounter: Tracking Rhinos on foot! This is a truly unforgettable experience, allowing you to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

If your arrival time on Day 1 didn't allow for Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you'll embark on this thrilling activity in the morning. Feel the adrenaline rush as you approach these gentle giants on foot, guided by expert rangers.
Afterwards, prepare for a captivating journey to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you'll be awestruck by the power and beauty of the Top of the Falls, where the mighty Nile River plunges through a narrow gorge - prepare to get wet!
As the day comes to a close, immerse yourself in the park's vibrant atmosphere with an exhilarating evening Game Drive. Keep your eyes peeled for Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, and a variety of Antelope species as they roam the savannah.

After a fulfilling morning, prepare for a relaxing yet captivating afternoon Boat Cruise on the Nile River. Glide along the water, getting up close to Hippos, Crocodiles, and a stunning array of birdlife. This unique perspective of the park is sure to leave a lasting impression on you.

Today, you'll journey to Kibale National Park, rightfully known as the "Primate Capital of the World". But before immersing yourself in the Primate Adventure, you'll have a rewarding opportunity to connect with the local culture.
Embark on a fascinating community walk at Bigodi, where you'll receive a warm welcome into the community's homes. Delve into their traditions and way of life, with insights into alternative medicine practices, a hands-on experience in picking and preparing your own cup of coffee, and the chance to sample the locally produced Banana Gin. This immersive experience promises a unique and authentic glimpse into the heart of Uganda - not to be missed!

Rise early for another thrilling Game Drive, this time in a new location. Queen Elizabeth National Park boasts diverse ecosystems, from sprawling savannahs to lush wetlands, offering a chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife.
Later, you'll journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Prepare to be captivated by the scenic drive as you traverse Uganda's beautiful landscapes.

After your early breakfast, you'll be welcomed at the briefing area for an introduction about what to expect during your upcoming trek. After meeting your expert local trackers and your National Park Ranger you'll soon be on your way to encounter the Gorillas.
Your trek (1-3 hrs) culminates in an awe-inspiring hour spent observing these magnificent creatures in their natural environment – a truly memorable experience.
Afterwards, you'll have a unique opportunity to connect with the Batwa People (Pygmies), learning about their rich history and deep ties to the rainforest. You'll also have the chance to purchase handcrafted souvenirs.
You'll then make your way to Lake Bunyonyi, dubbed the Switzerland of Africa because of its stunning natural beauty. Lake Bunyoni is the deepest lake in the country at 800m and you'll have the opportunity to explore it by boat - just don't drop your phone!
Your accommodation for the evening will be at Birdnest Bunyonyi. You'll be very comfortable here, with amazing views out over the lake.

Later, you'll transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, a haven for Zebras, Impalas, and Buffalo. As the sun sets, embark on an exciting evening Game Drive, with an optional night Game Drive for those seeking a unique nocturnal wildlife experience.

Your final day in Uganda offers an optional morning Game Walk in Lake Mburo National Park, allowing you to experience the National Park's beauty on foot.
After this final wildlife encounter, you'll begin your journey back to Entebbe International Airport (EBB) for your departing flight. But the adventure isn't over yet!
You'll make a memorable stop at the Equator Experience, and a chance for a unique photo opportunity. Reflect on the incredible memories you've made as your Ugandan safari comes to an end (and make your plans for the next one!)
