Dahab is not just a diving destination, it is a lifestyle. You will understand fully once you will arrive there, it is a cozy, authentic, safe Egyptian village between Sinai desertic Mountains and the salty waters of the Red Sea.
What to Expect form the course :
Open Water course introduces everyone to the world of recreational diving. It’s a fun and interesting course that will enable you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters anywhere in the world. The certification does not expire, but it's important to refresh your skills if you haven't dived for several months or years. During the course, we will begin from the bascsi, respecting each person's needs, starting from how to use scuba gear, proper breathing and equalizing techniques.
Course Structure
The course lasts about 3 days in water + some time to discuss the theory together.
° The theory is divided into 6 chapters, which you will be able to start reading online on the PADI app independently. At the end of each chapter, you will complete a knowledge review, answering some quizzes and multiple-choice exam.
° The session of confined water exercises in shallow water (2 meters) in the swimming pool. We will train together all the diving skills you may need, other than getting familiar with breathing underwater.
° 4 Open Water Dives. Two days on the boat diving two dives each day. The first two dives at lowest depth of maximum 12 meters, the second two at a depth of maximum 18 meters.
As scuba trainers, our goal will be teaching you to become an independent diver, capable of loving the sea with respect, positivity, fun and always in safety. At the end of the course, once all is passed successfully, you will be granted a PADI diving certification that will never expire.
There is no big requirement to become a diver, everyone that is curious and would love to join the family is welcome.
You will be asked to complete a MEDICAL form to certify that you are fit to dive. We will send you a copy beforehand for you to check if any of the conditions apply to you (if they do, you can see a doctor for a consultation.)
