Immerse yourself in island life on this thoughtfully curated 6-night, 7-day journey to St. Maarten / St. Martin (SXM) — a destination where two nations share one vibrant island and Caribbean ease meets European charm.
Designed in true Yaala Travel & Relocation fashion, this experience goes beyond a typical vacation. It blends cultural discovery, effortless logistics, and elevated leisure so you can explore deeply while moving with intention. Guided by the perspective of an expat who called the island home for four years, you’ll gain insider access to both iconic highlights and under-the-radar gems that most travelers miss.
Relax on powder-soft beaches like Mullet Bay and Orient Bay. Witness the world-famous plane landings at Maho Beach. Wander colorful streets in Philipsburg and Marigot, where Dutch and French influences shape everything from architecture to daily rhythm. Savor long, unhurried meals in what many call the culinary capital of the Caribbean — from seaside lolo’s to refined waterfront dining.
Your journey also includes a private boat charter to the crystal-clear waters of Anguilla, where turquoise horizons and serene beaches invite you to fully unplug.
This is not just a trip — it’s an invitation to slow down, connect, and experience the Caribbean with depth, ease, and cultural appreciation. With carefully curated experiences, seamless coordination, and space for both exploration and restoration, Yaala creates the freedom for you to simply arrive — and belong.
This experience is curated by Eddie “Trey” Breaux, founder of Yaala Travel & Relocation.
In 2022, Trey relocated with his family from the United States to St. Maarten, where he spent several years immersing himself in the island’s culture, lifestyle, and community. Living on the island provided him with a unique perspective beyond the typical tourist experience — discovering hidden beaches, local restaurants, cultural traditions, and the everyday rhythms that make the Friendly Island so special. Through this experience, he developed a deep appreciation for the island and is excited to share many of his favorite places and insights with fellow travelers.
Trey’s passion for meaningful travel began earlier in his journey as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, West Africa, where he spent over two years living and working within a local community. That transformative experience sparked a lifelong commitment to cultural exploration and global connection.
Through Yaala Travel & Relocation, Trey creates thoughtfully curated travel experiences that go beyond traditional tourism — designed to help travelers slow down, engage with local culture, and experience destinations in a more authentic and meaningful way.
This itinerary is based on Trey’s four years of living on St. Maarten and exploring the island as a resident.
