About your trip

Join us for an unforgettable photo workshop amidst the hauntingly beautiful cypress swamps of Caddo Lake and Big Cypress Bayou in Texas. These stunning landscapes, draped in Spanish moss, are a haven for photographers, with their expressive tree shapes and ethereal reflections. In autumn, the swamps transform into a breathtaking palette of vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows, offering endless opportunities for capturing striking images.

Explore Hidden Gems with Ease

This exclusive workshop takes you deep into the bayou and across Caddo Lake aboard my 15-foot flat-bottom skiff boat. Designed for maneuverability, the skiff can navigate into hidden, narrow waterways just as easily as a kayak or canoe but offers the added benefits of speed, comfort, and zero effort on your part. Whether you're gliding through tranquil inlets or venturing into the open lake, the boat ensures a safe and relaxed photography experience.

An Intimate Small-Group Experience

To ensure a truly personalized adventure, this workshop is limited to just three participants. This intimate group size allows for:

  • Exclusive Access: With my guidance, you'll explore secluded spots and unique vantage points that other tours can't reach.
  • Flexible Schedules: Stay out on the water longer to capture those golden-hour moments or elusive wildlife shots without the constraints of a larger group.
  • Individual Attention: Receive tailored tips and feedback to elevate your photography skills while immersed in this inspiring environment.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to capture the magical beauty of Caddo Lake and Big Cypress Bayou. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or an enthusiastic beginner, this tour is designed to spark your creativity and leave you with unforgettable images.

Travel Insurance

All attendees are highly encouraged to purchase trip insurance for the selected workshop to protect against unforeseen emergencies or circumstances that may necessitate cancellation. It is the participant’s sole responsibility to safeguard their payment(s) by securing appropriate travel insurance coverage.

Many insurance companies offer reasonably priced plans that cover medical emergencies, evacuations, and trip cancellations — especially if you purchase a policy within 14 days of making your workshop deposit.
