Welcome to Italy! The food, the people, the passion, the cobble-stone streets, Italian Alp towns, and 2026 Winter Olympic Games await! We're going straight from the Malpensa Milan airport to the mountains! Reason being, the amount of mountain events February 15-17 are just awesome. Then hockey and speed skating heat up at the tail end of the Olympics, hence Milan being part two of our experience.
We are staying in the famous ski town of St. Moritz, Switzerland! We'll kick off the week with a traditional raclette and fondue party on-site. Check into your rooms and our headquarters for your first 4-night stay.
So many choices today! Ski or snowboard the two mountains in town - St. Moritz and Corvatsch, which are both included on the IKON pass. That means that if you've got the 2026 IKON pass to ski/ride back home, you've got free access here!
Option two for the day has us headed over to Livigno for a slew of Olympic mountain events and exploring a second ski town. We'll have transport to/from St. Moritz all covered. Olympic events today include dual moguls, boarder-cross, and big air competitions!
Decisions, decisions. Ski/ride the Swiss Alps or back over to Livigno for more Olympics?! Olympic events today include men’s slalom and big air! For those sticking around St. Moritz, hit the shops and sports bars for plenty of live Olympic coverage.
The choice is yours again! Today, it’s men’s and women’s freestyle aerials AND big air! That or maybe you've had your fill of Livigno and it's time to give St. Moritz your attention. More skiing/boarding awaits OR...cross country and snow-bike right outside the back door of the hotel.
Today marks our last day in the mountains. After this, we're making our way to Milan!
The 3+ hour ride to Milan doesn't get much prettier. Lake Como is on the way into the city, so weather permitting, we'll be sure to stop there to stretch our legs, sip on an espresso, take in the unrivaled view, and snap 100 pics inside of a few short minutes.
Our home for the next four nights is in central Milan. If we had to liken our HQ to an NYC neighborhood, we'd call it the West Village. Walking distance from a ton and a short metro ride to just about everything. The common space at our Journey to the Games Milan HQ has never looked so good. We have an unrivaled bar with lots of TVs, couches, and even a state of the art kitchen that serves an included breakfast each morning.
Today is also the day that hockey heats up! Men's quarterfinals and short track speed skating are on tap! Get tickets to the show or tune in on one of the big screens at our Journey to the Games bar.
So many restaurants. So much to see. And just a few days to do it all. Climb to the dop of the Duomo? Sit down for a memorable Northern Italian meal? Or maybe head to all of the Olympic events taking place. Figure skating and speed skating are on today’s docket.
The biggest event today is women’s gold medal hockey! And make no mistake, the odds of the women's hockey finals event being USA vs. Canada again are ridiculously high! It's an age-old rivalry that can't be missed.
Both men's hockey semi-final events take place today. If hockey is your thing, your day is all set! If it's not your thing, not only is there all of Milan to see and do, there's the rest of the Olympics to see and do too. By now, if we haven't hit Olympic houses, like the Dutch House and German House, it's about time for a few visits.
Our last full day in Milan sees The final send off is typically one for the ages so make sure to keep a little gas in the tank! Lots of events and a last call to take Milan by storm.

Or maybe you didn't get enough mountain time and it's time for a quick trip over to Zermatt, Switzerland? Or maybe you're so exhausted from the most epic 8-night Italian Olympics journey that it really is time to head for home.
