Your adventure begins the moment you arrive at Ponta Delgada International Airport. Our friendly team will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation. Feeling a bit of jet lag? No worries—we’re not diving straight into the action. Today is all about easing in and settling down. After you have had some time to rest and recharge, we’ll take a leisurely stroll around Ribeira Grande. We’ll gather for a lovely seaside dinner to kick off this incredible women’s group trip.

Day 1 Includes: Airport Transfers, Lunch, Dinner, Accommodations

I hope your jet lag has worn off. Today we’re heading out to explore the stunning island of São Miguel! We’ll be doing a scenic clockwise loop, starting on the island’s lush northern coast and working our way south. Our first stop is the breathtaking Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões. We’ll wander through lush greenery and admire the waterfalls. From there, we’ll take in panoramic views at Miradouro da Vista dos Barcos and Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego. These two viewpoints offer incredible vistas of the coastline and the Atlantic. Next, we’ll visit Miradouro da Ponta da Madrugada and Miradouro do Pico Longo. Two perfect spots for photos and appreciating São Miguel’s dramatic landscapes. From here we’ll make our way to the charming town of Povoação, to explore and have lunch. To cap off the day, we’ll drive along the Alameda dos Plátanos offering a fabulous backdrop for photos. If the weather is right, we’ll relax at Praia do Fogo. This is the island’s beautiful black-sand beach. You can unwind and take in the stunning views here. The first full day of our women’s group trip is packed with natural wonders and scenic overlooks. It provides a taste of local culture. It is truly a perfect introduction to the beauty of São Miguel!

 Today, we’re venturing off the beaten path to explore some of São Miguel’s most dramatic landscapes, starting with a scenic drive along the White Road that winds around the rim of the volcanic craters—a route only accessible by 4×4. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Azorean Pineapple Plantation to learn about the unique cultivation process of these world-famous pineapples. Next, we’ll admire the engineering marvel of the Aqueduto do Carvão, and then take in the incredible views from the Muro das Nove Janelas. Our journey continues as we traverse the craters, with panoramic views at Miradouro das Cumeeiras and stunning vistas of Sete Cidades. Afterward, we’ll visit the iconic Miradouro da Vista do Rei and the serene Miradouro da Lagoa de Santiago, before our hike to the awe-inspiring Miradouro da Boca do Inferno—a viewpoint that offers an unmatched perspective of the surrounding volcanic landscape. This day promises to be an adventure through São Miguel’s natural wonders, filled with striking vistas and unique experiences.

Spend a full day immersed in the unique beauty of Furnas. Begin by exploring the otherworldly sulfur thermals and witness the traditional method of cooking food in the ground. Take a scenic walk around Furnas Lake. Visit the enchanting Capela de Nossa Senhora das Vitórias, a gothic-style chapel. Stop by Antigo Pomar das Caldeiras da Lagoa das Furnas to see the bubbling hot springs. In the afternoon we will visit Parque Terra Nostra, to relax in the thermal waters. Finally, end your day by visiting the Gorreana Tea Factory. It is the oldest tea plantation in Europe. Enjoy a taste of Azorean tea there.

Day 4 Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tour & Entries, Accommodations

 Begin your day with a visit to the breathtaking Miradouro da Lagoa do Fogo. You’ll enjoy panoramic views of the serene volcanic lake. Next, explore the tropical haven of Caldeira Velha. Relax in the warm, soothing thermal pools beneath a canopy of greenery. Continue to Salto do Cabrito. It is a picturesque waterfall where you can take a refreshing swim. You can also simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As the day winds down, we will enjoy our last dinner on this incredible women’s group trip at Bar Caloura. Savor fresh seafood while you watch the sunset over the Atlantic.
