About your trip

This 20 days motorbike trour through Morocco offers an exceptional route, rich in scenery and discoveries. The journey begins in Essaouira and its Atlantic coast, steeped in seafaring culture and traditions, then descends to the wild beaches of Mirleft, where cliffs and waves follow one another in an unspoilt natural setting. The road then leads into the Anti-Atlas mountains to Tafraoute, with its unique rock formations and colourful Berber villages. Heading up towards the Atlas mountains, we explore the impressive Dades gorges before plunging into the Merzouga desert, where the dunes of Erg Chebbi await us.


The crossing of the Middle Atlas then takes us to Fez, an imperial city with a rich architectural heritage. Continuing due north, we discover Chefchaouen, the blue city nestling in the heart of the Rif, with a diversion towards the Mediterranean to appreciate the contrast between sea and mountains. The return route passes through the cedar forests of Ifrane and the Bin el Ouidane lake, before marvelling at the Ouzoud waterfalls. The last two days offer an immersion in the High Atlas, with the crossing of the Tichka Pass marking the end of a unique odyssey in the heart of Morocco.

Exploring Marrakech, Welcome Dinner, Tour Briefing

Airport transfer to your hotel. First Marrakech exploring. Meeting with the group, welcome dinner and tour briefing.

Marrakech - Essaouira 190 Km

First half day riding. We get used to the bikes and Moroccan traffic. Easy ride through light hills and Argan Trees fields. As we approach Essaouira, the sea breeze and dunes herald our arrival on the Atlantic coast, where we end the day exploring the historic medina and the traditional harbor.

Essaouira - Mireleft 300 Km

 Leaving Essaouira, following the Atlantic coast with its spectacular beaches and cliffs. After a lunch break on the beach, we ride through arid landscapes towards Tiznit, before reaching Mirleft. The day ends with a dinner overlooking the ocean, with the sun setting on the wild beaches of Mirleft.

Mireleft - Tafraoute 250 Km

 We leave Mirleft and the Atlantic, passing through coastal landscapes before entering the Anti-Atlas mountains.we follow winding roads between Berber villages and palm groves, offering breathtaking panoramas, before arriving at Tafraoute, famous for its rock formations and almond trees in bloom.

Tafraoute - Taroudant. 200 Km

Leaving Tafraoute, we cross the Anti-Atlas with its rocky landscapes, then reach Ighrem, a hilltop village offering spectacular views. Continuing on to Tiout, we pass through verdant oases before arriving in Taroudant, a fortified town nicknamed the "little Marrakech", where we end our day in a great guest house. One of our day highlights will also be visiting an Argan Oil cooperative runned and operated by women.

Taroudant - Ait Ben Haddou 290 Km

We leave Taroudant and ride through the saffron-growing region of Taliouine, where the saffron fields add a splash of colour to the landscape. We continue on to Tazenakht, famous for its Berber carpets, before taking the winding roads that lead to Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient kasbah listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site which we will take the time to explore.

Ait Ben Haddou - Boumalne Dadès 300 Km

Leaving Ait Ben Haddou early morning, we ride along Drâa Valley heading Agdz, crossing desert landscapes and verdant palm groves. We continue towards Nkob, before crossing the Tizi n'Tazazert pass, where steep mountains and breathtaking panoramas accompany you to Boumalne Dadès, the starting point for the famous Dadès Canyon which will magically end up our day.

Boumalne Dadès - Merzouga. 310 Km

Leaving Boumalne Dadès early morning for an exciting day, we explore the spectacular Todra gorges, with their impressive cliffs, before crossing Tinejdad, where the palm groves stretch as far as the eye can see. We continue on to Rissani, an ancient caravan crossroads, before arriving in Merzouga, at the gateway to the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes.

Merzouga (Rest Day)

A day of rest under the sign of the magic of the desert. 4x4 excursion to meet nomadic families, discovery of green oases, lazing by the pool before a second night to the rhythm of tam tams and desert music. A day to connect with the desert before continuing our Moroccan adventure.

Merzouga - Timahdite 320 Km

We leave the desert, heading north. Passing through the palm groves of Erfoud, and the breathtaking panoramas of the Ziz valley. After a break in Errachidia, the road climbs towards the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views before arriving in Timahdite at the end of the day, where we'll settle into a superb lakeside resort.

Timahdite - Fes. 140 Km

This half-day ride offers a picturesque route through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops to admire the cedar forests and alpine scenery of Ifrane, nicknamed the "Switzerland of Morocco". On the way down to Fès, the road winds through lush green valleys, offering a striking contrast before reaching the historic medina of Fès.

Fes, (Rest Day)

This rest day in the medina of Fez will immerse us in Moroccan history, culture and craftsmanship, with visits to iconic sites such as the tanneries and Al Quaraouiyine University. A gourmet lunch in a traditional riad offers refined Moroccan dishes. The afternoon is devoted to exploring the souks and historic districts before relaxing on the magical roof top of our Riad.

Fes- Chefchaouen

We leave our spiritual interlude and drive through the rolling countryside of the Rif, stopping off at Ouezzane, a town famous for its olives and crafts. The road winds through pine forests and picturesque villages before reaching Chefchaouen, the blue city nestled in the mountains, offering panoramic views and a unique atmosphere.

Chefchaouen (Rest Day)

A day under the sign of the Mediterranean. A half-day excursion that will take us through the Rif mountains to a limpid blue sea where swimming and a fish lunch are on the agenda. The afternoon is given over to Chefchaouen, the real pearl of the north, for some well-deserved idleness before the return trip to Marrakech with its many surprises.

Chefchaouen - Azrou. 260 Km

An early start for a day packed with culture, with a stop to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, before passing through the imperial city of Meknes. The route continues through the mountainous landscapes of Ito, offering panoramic views of the Middle Atlas plateaux, before arriving in Azrou, renowned for its cedar forests and thousands of cherry trees.

Azrou - Binelouidane. 270 Km

We leave the cedar forests of Ain Leuh and head towards Khénifra along the Oum Er-Rbia river. After a break in Afourer, the road winds through the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views before reaching the Bin El Ouidane lake and its spectacular dam (one of the largest in the kingdom).

Binelouidane - Ouarzazate. 250 Km

Leaving the lake behind to reach Ouzoud waterfalls for a coffee break with a view of the impressive falls (100m).  We then head south again towards ouarzazate through the High Atlas Mountain, an epic ride before a last night in the south.

Ouarzazate - Marrakech

From Ouarzazate, the road leads first to Aït Ben Haddou, a fortified village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the red earth kasbahs stand proud in the sunshine. Continuing towards Telouet, the road becomes more winding, passing through small Berber villages nestling in the mountains. The kasbah of Telouet, former palace of the Lords of Glaoui, is a must for exploring this architecture rich in history. The climb to the Tichka Pass, the high point of the day, offers breathtaking views over the valleys and peaks of the Atlas Mountains before the gradual descent back to Marrakech, marking the end of a day of mountain scenery, culture and history.

Marrakech (Final rest day)

This final day begins with a soothing visit to the Majorelle Gardens. We then explore the souks of the medina, where the local colours and scents awaken our senses. At the end of the day, Jemaa el-Fna Square will immerse us in the festive atmosphere of the city, before concluding with a final dinner to celebrate this extraordinary epic in style.
