About your trip

This tour takes you from Marrakesh through the grandiose landscapes of Morocco. You'll cross the vertiginous passes of the High Atlas before reaching the Merzouga desert, where the golden sand dunes stretch out. Heading back up through the Middle Atlas, you'll reach the imperial cities of Fez and Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of the north, before skirting the Mediterranean coast. On the way back, you'll pass the Bin el Ouidane lake and the impressive Ouzoud waterfalls, for a grand finale in Marrakech.

Exploring Marrakech, Welcome Dinner, Tour Briefing

After your transfer to the hotel, this first day is devoted to acclimatisation, Paper work and a general briefing of the tour. The earlier you arrive in Marrakech, the more time you will have to explore Jemaa El Fena square and its lively streets.  Welcome dinner.

Marrakech - Ouarzazate. 200 Km

Leaving Marrakech, the ascent to the Tichka Pass begins on a winding, panoramic road, revealing craggy peaks and verdant valleys. On the way down, a diversion to Telouet allows you to visit the famous Kasbah du Glaoui, an ancient building combining history and Berber architecture, nestled in the heart of the mountains. Continuing on to Aït Ben Haddou, the route passes through small villages and colourful landscapes before reaching this emblematic fortified village, a World Heritage site. The arrival in Ouarzazate brings this day rich in discovery to a close, offering a final glimpse of the spectacular landscapes and historic sites of southern Morocco.

Ouarzazate - Boumalne Dades. 290 Km

From Ouarzazate, the road heads towards Agdz, where the Drâa Valley stretches out, lined with palm trees and ancient kasbahs. Continuing towards Nkob, the scenery changes to vast stretches of desert dotted with traditional adobe villages. The climb to the Tizi n'Tazazert pass is intense, with switchbacks offering breathtaking views of the Anti-Atlas mountains and rocky plateaux. After crossing the pass, the descent leads directly into the Dades gorges, whose sculpted cliffs and tight bends make for a spectacular final stage before reaching Boumalne Dades,

Boumalne Dades - Merzouga. 290 Km

Leaving Boumalne Dadès early morning for an exciting day, we explore the spectacular Todra gorges, with their impressive cliffs, before crossing Tinejdad, where the palm groves stretch as far as the eye can see. We continue on to Rissani, an ancient caravan crossroads, before arriving in Merzouga, at the gateway to the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes.

Merzouga - Timahdite. 320 Km

We leave the desert, heading north. Passing through the palm groves of Erfoud, and the breathtaking panoramas of the Ziz valley. After a break in Errachidia, the road climbs towards the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views before arriving in Timahdite at the end of the day, where we'll settle into a superb lakeside resort.

Timahdite - Fes. 140 Km

This half-day ride offers a picturesque route through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops to admire the cedar forests and alpine scenery of Ifrane, nicknamed the "Switzerland of Morocco". On the way down to Fès, the road winds through lush green valleys, offering a striking contrast before reaching the historic medina of Fès.

Fes - Chefchaouen. 190 Km

We leave our spiritual interlude and drive through the rolling countryside of the Rif, stopping off at Ouezzane, a town famous for its olives and crafts. The road winds through pine forests and picturesque villages before reaching Chefchaouen, the blue city nestled in the mountains, offering panoramic views and a unique atmosphere.

Chefchaouen (Rest Day)

A day under the sign of the Mediterranean. A half-day excursion that will take us through the Rif mountains to a limpid blue sea where swimming and a fish lunch are on the agenda. The afternoon is given over to Chefchaouen, the real pearl of the north, for some well-deserved idleness before the return trip to Marrakech with its many surprises.

Chefchaouen - Azrou. 260 Km

An early start for a day packed with culture, with a stop to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, before passing through the imperial city of Meknes. The route continues through the mountainous landscapes of Ito, offering panoramic views of the Middle Atlas plateaux, before arriving in Azrou, renowned for its cedar forests and thousands of cherry trees.

Azrou - Binelouidane. 270 Km

We leave the cedar forests of Ain Leuh and head towards Khénifra along the Oum Er-Rbia river. After a break in Afourer, the road winds through the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views before reaching the Bin El Ouidane lake and its spectacular dam (one of the largest in the kingdom).

Binelouidane - Marrakech. 230 Km

A final day on the bike before heading back to Marrakech. We leave the lake behind to reach the Ouzoud waterfalls for a coffee break with a view of the impressive falls (100m). We then leave the heights of the Atlas for good to reach the plains of El Haouz. We say goodbye to our mounts and return to the hustle and bustle of the Ochre city. The evening ends with a closing dinner where music and gastronomy are king. A final magical Moroccan evening.
