Peace of Paradise sits mountainside in Paradise Valley Montana . It's where nature and art meet for a special one-of-a-kind property. Just 15 minutes from the iconic artist town of Livingston, Montana and 30 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. 

Painting sessions lead by artist Wendy Vogt and guest artist Rachel Graham, Montana storytelling sessions with Chloe Nostrant, Meditation and drumming circle with Kaycee Kalahar, outdoor yoga, onsite art store with Montana local artists, wine tasting, downtown shopping and more. Engaging activities are offered every day!

The Details

Plein Air sessions will center around the theme of self exploration outdoors and building artistic confidence. Wendy Vogt will lead a class helping you tap into the world outside through your own lens to develop your own style of expression through art. We will use the tools for plein air painting by bringing your own portable plein air art box and favorite paint brushes. We will provide oil paints as your medium. Guest artist, Rachel Graham will assist by helping you focus on the landscapes inspired by Paradise Valley Montana’s breathtaking mountain views. All art materials will be provided.

Storytelling through art session will be lead by Chloe Nostrant to help inspire your art.

Drumming Circle lead by Kaycee Kalahar using her own handmade hide drums for grounding yourself in nature to open up your creativity. 

Custom Shaped palm leaf hats with Cofer Hat Co. to wear on your trip!

Welcome reception 6/28

We will welcome you to Montana 5pm on June 28th with organically crafted cocktails, light bites and live music with Jesscy Dean/The wild Homesteader. Custom shaped Palm leaf hats with Cofer Hat co., local lore history and nature walks

Additional art supplies, treats and a goodie bag will be gifted!

Scheduled meals + goodies 6/29-7/1

Breakfast, lunch and 1 specially curated Private Chef curated dinner are included.

Anyone can travel, but it’s a much richer experience when guided by a local. Currently living in Paradise Valley, Karen Filos is so excited to share her favorite parts of Montana with the group.

Welcome to Montana reception

On June 28th we will welcome all of our attendees with a reception under the nordic tipi located at our event venue Peace of Paradise in Paradise Valley Montana. The following 3 days will include Plein Air sessions that center around the theme of self exploration outdoors and building artistic confidence. 5pm-8p welcome reception with heavy appetizers, organically crafted cocktails, custom hat shaping with Cofer Hat Co., oracle cards with Nayade, nature walks and live music with the Wild Homesteader 

June 29th-  

8 am: Optional morning yoga

9 am: Continental breakfast with coffee and tea and locally baked goods

10 am: Sound healing/drumming ceremony 

11 am: Montana Storytelling session under the tipi with Chloe Nostrant 

12:30pm: Picnic Lunch 

1:30-4:30pm: Plein Air Painting with Wendy Vogt and Rachel Grahm

5pm: Dinner on your own

June 30th -  

8 am: Optional morning yoga

10 am:Felting demonstration with the Wild Homesteader 

12 pm: Picnic Lunch

What to pack

Pack your own Plein air box, favorite paintbrushes if you have them.

Montana weather is unpredictable! Prepare for cool mornings and evenings with a jacket and sweater.

Sunblock and a refillable water bottle.

Pack jeans, t-shirts, layers, baseball cap for the wind, and comfortable shoes you don't mind getting dirty.

If your planning on hiking wear supportive hiking shoes.

Its very casual but western wear is encouraged if your attending the rodeo!
