Our adventure focuses on the three capital cities of the Baltic States, Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania).  Many have called these cities the hidden gems of Europe.  While traveling between the capitals, we will be able to make a few stops along the way that give us a glimpse into life in the countryside and be able to appreciate the landscapes of these resilient countries.  

We start our journey in Helsinki, Finland-  just a two hour ferry ride from Estonia and its capital of Tallinn.  Tallinn is beginning to make its way on to “Top 10” lists of European capitals, scoring high marks for its well preserved medieval architecture, culture, cleanliness, and low crime.  The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral tops the hill in Tallinn's Toompea district and is a must see.  Tallinn’s overall beauty and charm will surprise you every chance it gets.  

From there its on to Latvia and the capital city of Riga.  It rivals Tallinn in how much it has to offer with no lack of historic and splendid cathedrals and churches.  Our final stop is Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.  As with the other two Baltic capitals, we will enjoy a walking “Food Tour” and sample the local cuisine and beverages.  The final stop on our adventure is Lithuania and its capital of Vilnius.
