We’ll spend the first part of our trip at a cosy cabin cluster in Nuvsvåg, with sweeping fjord views, a warming sauna. Expect cabins with shared bathrooms and single beds (details that add to the authenticity of the local stay).
Midway through our trip, depending on weather conditions, we may move deeper into the mountains to a fully equipped Advanced Base Camp, sleeping in expedition-grade tents and living off-grid without heating, showers or toilets. While warm meals keep you fueled, the real luxury is outdoors—you’ll ski straight from camp into untouched terrain.

These highlights offer a sense of what to expect. But in true expedition style, each trip is shaped by the weather, snow conditions and the collective experience of the group. Your guides will adapt each day to make the most of the Arctic, so be ready for a dynamic adventure.
After your arrival, we’ll drive about a 2.5 hours, incl. a short ferry ride (depending on the snow conditions) to Nuvsvåg, where our cosy cabin cluster awaits. Once settled, we’ll share drinks and a welcome dinner to kick off our trip.
We’ll set out from the cabin site to explore nearby slopes, easing into the raw terrain and getting comfortable with our equipment. This helps you find your rhythm on the snow and with the group before bigger adventures ahead.
We venture further into the heart of Loppa, spending the day on pristine slopes and open ridgelines. If the weather allows, we move from the lodge to an advanced base camp for the night, enjoying dinner by the campfire and deepening the sense of adventure.
Setting out from the base camp, we tour the surrounding terrain, taking in new perspectives of Loppa’s remote wilderness, before returning to the cabin site again for the evening.
Two more days are spent skiing from the cabin site, venturing across remote peaks, glaciers, and open ridges.
For our final full day, we’ll either ski from camp or return to the cabin site—with your guides choosing the best terrain based on snow and weather. Whether it’s one last climb or a mellow cruise through the powder, the day will be about soaking in the landscape and celebrating your summits. In the evening, we’ll gather for a festive farewell dinner and toast to new tracks in the wild.
After breakfast, we’ll depart from Nuvsvåg. We will transport you to the Alta Airport, with plenty of time to catch early afternoon flights.
