Grow and glow while exploring Costa Rica!
Welcome to Cultivating an Authentic Narrative of Life 2025 Travel Retreat!
Hola! This is where traveling around the country meets a retreat and combine their superpowers. During our time together we will be touring Costa Rica, but also engaging in retreat like activities focused on personal growth and development. This travel retreat was born from my deep passions of traveling, coaching, and the personal growth that comes from both of them. My name is Fabiola and I will be your tour guide in Costa Rica and retreat host.
What to expect?
The trip is a total of 10 days which divides into 2 travel days and 8 full days in country. We will have private transportation during all the 10 days making it easy and effective to move between destinations. The group will be maxed at 10 people thus providing more space for connection. I will be with you the entire time.
Travel Component:
- The travel component of the trip includes touring around Costa Rica and visiting different towns learning about the culture, the Nature, and about us. The route is San José, Turrialba, La Fortuna, and the north Guanacaste province area. This route allows us to visit a bit of everything from the city and rural towns to the volcano mountain ranges and the Pacific Ocean.
- The itinerary includes a diverse range of activities providing you with a taste of it all and the opportunity to learn and grow through the different experiences.
Retreat Component:
- "Cultivating an Authentic Narrative of Life" focuses on self-connection, self-love, and the courage to root our lives in our authenticity and live from that place. Each day of the travel retreat will cover a topic that goes back to this question "How do I cultivate an authentic narrative of life?" and it will also include opportunities for self-exploration and self-connection.
- You can expect activities like dynamic workshops, journaling, meditating, exercising, dancing, reflections, and more.
This trip does require some physical capabilities for activities like whitewater rafting and a waterfall hike. In terms of accommodations, we prioritize safety and cleanliness, but we will stay in modest accommodations and not resort like places. We prioritize supporting local businesses so expect to find a mix of more local experiences and then more touristic experiences. There is so much to say about this trip. If you have questions that are not answered here, please contact me and let's get them answered. We can hop on a 15 minute "retreat call" to talk about it and see if this is a good fit for you. You can contact me through email at growthboundjourneys@gmail.com or whatsapp +506 8655-6521.

This is travel day to Costa Rica. All of you will arrive to San José, Costa Rica throughout the day. We will have a welcome dinner and orientation this evening to start getting to know each other and setting intentions for the journey ahead.
We will explore San José by walking and see what the capital has to offer. Later in the day we will transfer to Turrialba for our next destination.
On this day we will be exploring art and community in Turrialba through a clay art workshop with a local artisan and a repurpose leather workshop with a local brand. Both of this, are amazing opportunities to connect with ourselves and the local community.
Before leaving Turrialba we will explore one more gem in the area and learn about cacao. We will then transfer to La Fortuna for our next destination in this journey.
Adventure day filled with teamwork and lots of refreshing water as we navigate the white water rapids in La Fortuna.
In the morning we will do either horseback riding or a hike through a nature park in the area. In the afternoon we will do a medicinal plants tour and an art and self-connection experience.
A long yet extremely fun day including a bus transfer to the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, a waterfall hike, and zip lining. Be ready for adventure.
This day will be a lot of beach hopping and exploring the small beach towns in the area.
Last day best day? We will end with some more beach time, a catamaran, and a farewell dinner.
