As the leaves turn and the air begins to soften into autumn stillness, join us for a soul-nourishing weekend in the serene embrace of upstate New York. Coming Home is a retreat designed to guide you back to yourself—through movement, stillness, breath, and nature.
Autumn is a season of transition—a gentle descent inward. Just as the trees release what’s no longer needed, we’ll use this weekend to reflect, realign, and prepare ourselves for the quieter months ahead. Through grounding yoga practices, nourishing seasonal meals, guided meditations, and time in nature, we’ll attune to the subtle shifts around and within us.
This retreat is an invitation to pause—to remember that rest is not a luxury, but a rhythm. To return to yourself before winter’s stillness sets in.
All levels are welcome. Come as you are, and leave feeling rooted, replenished, and at home in your own skin.

Vera began her yoga journey in 2010 after moving to New York. Years of dedicated practice revealed to her the profound physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga, ultimately inspiring her to explore the tradition more deeply.
She immersed herself in two formative retreats—first at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas (2014), then at Ananda Ashram in New York (2015)—experiences that awakened a desire to study yoga in a more formal capacity. In 2018, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Pure Yoga NYC under the guidance of Kay Kay Clivio, Adam Vitolo, and Yogi Charu. She went on to deepen her training in pranayama, restorative yoga, and Bhakti practices, eventually completing her 300-hour training at Yoga Maya.
Vera is passionate about continual learning and growth. She is currently completing a 200-hour Katonah Yoga training, which has further expanded her understanding of body mechanics, metaphor, and breathwork.
In both her personal practice and teaching, Vera draws from multiple lineages of yoga, with a focus on building strength, cultivating steady breath, moving with grace, and calming the mind. Her teaching is grounded in reverence for yoga’s sacred roots. She sees herself as a guide and conduit, honoring the tradition while helping each student connect to their own inner wisdom.
