The time has come to revert to your real nature, and invade a new location for the purposes of pillaging, partying, and generally being merry!
Therefore, the moron known as Sloppy Stool hereby invites you to the second city of the Czech Republic, Brno, for a festival of all things Sloppy, Shiggy, and Silly!
What Has Brno Got to do With Vikings?
The Swedish besieged the city during the Thirty Years War in 1645, but for some reason have not been back since. So it's time to remind Brno what marauding is all about...
When is the event?
The event will take place from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th June 2027, with the schedule as follows;
Thursday 17th June: Red Dress Run through the centre of Brno, followed by dinner and a party in an iconic local bar!
Friday 18th June: During the day you'll have a choice of Sloppy approved/organised extra events that you can join. For those wanting to do their own thing, that's also okay - if Sloppy is doing his job properly some of you should already be hungover from Thursday!
In the evening there will be a group dinner and party in a brewery located in the centre of the city!
Saturday 19th June: There will be a number of hash trails of varying lengths, with a trail to suit everyone. As the GM of the Brno Hash House Harriers for six years, Sloppy has had plenty of time to scout the area and knows all the greatest places to set trail!
And in the evening - why, dinner and a party of course, possibly with a special fancy dress theme!
Sunday 20th June: Hangover Trail, then everyone can fuck off home!
There is an Early Bird price of 250 Euros per person for this event - this price will rise to 280 Euros from 1st February 2027, and to 310 Euros per person from 1st April 2027.
There is a deposit at registration of 50 Euros. This deposit is non-refundable from 31st December 2026.
However, should you need to give up your registration for any reason after this point, if you can find someone to take over your spot the deposit can be transferred to them.
This is to discourage people from signing up and taking up the limited number of spots and only deciding a few months before the event if they can make it or not.
All the beer you can drink from the start of the Thursday dinner until the minute you leave while at official Hash Events!
Dinner is included on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Lunch will be included on trail on Saturday. And also for those who stay for the Hangover Trail on Sunday.
Containing who knows what? Certainly not me, not yet anyway!
Getting to and from trails on Saturday is covered in the price.
This could be anything. It might even be something you might possibly want.
Getting to Brno is on you. There is an airport, but I'm not 100% sure how easy it is to fly in. Otherwise Prague or Bratislava are good options for flights, with regular trains between both and Brno.
Finding one place in Brno that can host 200 people is impossible, so far better to let people choose their own place to stay based on personal comfort levels - there are options for all budgets. :-)
If you want to join the Red Dress Run there will be an extra 20 Euro charge. 100% of this will go to the local charity.
During the day on Friday there will be several optional events. Each of these events will all be subjected to an extra cost, which will cover EVERYTHING for the duration of said event.
This, again, is on you to work out!
We will meet in the centre of Brno at 4pm for a Red Dress Run, which will end at an iconic local restaurant around 7pm.
While there is an extra (all money to charity) charge for the Red Dress Run, the dinner and all the beer, wine and soft drinks you can manage will be covered by the Interscandi registration fee!
The restaurant is open until 1am, after which those who feel a need can perhaps join Sloppy for a late night Brno Misadventure at their own expense! It may be possible to arrange a late night Karaoke event, but there would be limited numbers for this and I would need to know in advance!
During the day there will be a number of events to give people options of ways to spend the day. Current ideas for events (more may be added later) are as follows;

Day Trip to Moravian Karst Caves
Wine Tasting
Each of these events will be an add-on to the main event, so there will be an extra charge. The events will be all-inclusive to those people who sign up for them, so transport, lunch, refreshments, and anything else will all be covered.
Events will be scheduled to last from approx 9am - 4pm, to give people time to go and get changed and refreshed for the evening festivities.
At 7pm we'll meet in a city centre brewery for dinner and drinks, with free bar and live entertainment until 2am.
The party will officially end at 2am, after which those who feel a need can perhaps join Sloppy for a late night Brno Misadventure at their own expense!
On Saturday we'll have a number of trails of varying lengths, with something to suit all abilities and fitness levels.
Sloppy Stool has spent the last six years setting trails in and around Brno, so knows all the best places to take people, and also where the secret self-service bars in the forests are, so expect great trails and lots of fun.
All trails will include a lunch stop, and the aim will be to have all groups back in the centre of Brno by 4pm, to give you time to head back to your hotels and freshen up for the main party of the weekend!
On Saturday evening we'll meet in a brewery in the centre of town (but not the same one as Friday), for food, drinks, music, maybe some sort of unexpected show, bids for 2028, and of course drinks!
The party will officially end at 2am, after which those who feel a need can perhaps join Sloppy for a late night Brno Misadventure at their own expense!
For those people who still somehow haven't had all the life sucked out of them, on Sunday morning we'll have a hangover trail, which will end with a group lunch for those who brave the trail.
After this the Interscandi event will officially draw to a close, and everyone will be encouraged to go back to wherever they came from!
