At JWJ Travels, we are committed to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. You have the option to cancel your initial reservation within the first 14 days after making the initial deposit, but please note that the deposit itself is non-refundable, and cannot be transferred to another trip. 

All payments made toward the balance of your trip are non-refundable after five (5) days of the payment being made. This includes full payments, and monthly or weekly instalment payments and any late fees.

It is advised to purchase trip cancellation insurance as a precaution, in the unlikely event that JWJ Travels may cancel, modify or postpone the Getaway or any part of it for mitigating/extenuating circumstances. 

Please also note that JWJ Travels is not liable for any incidental expenses or consequential losses sustained as a result of your booking being cancelled. This includes but is not limited to:

•        Visas & vaccinations

•        Flights, train tickets, or other transportation fees

We’re thrilled to share a sneak peek of our upcoming journey! As the departure date draws near, our guests will receive a more comprehensive and customised itinerary outlining the daily schedule, including hourly activities, and expectations for each day.

Our team will pick you up from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ).

After relaxing and settling into your hotel room, we will all meet later on for a Zanzibar fine dining experience to get better acquainted with one another.

After breakfast, we kick off the trip with a visit to Stone Town. On this walking tour, we will explore the ancient, winding streets of the town and its historic landmarks, archaic buildings including the Old Fort, and the colourful market. 

You will have the chance to view and shop all the creative artwork, local Zanzibari clothing and souvenirs.

>We will sail over to Changuu Private Island (Prison Island) on a traditional dhow boat. Prison Island is home to giant Aldabra tortoise, with some of the tortoise being 150 years old-even older. You will also have a short tour of the old prison. Feel free to roam around the island, enjoy the pristine white sand beach or have a swim in the crystal- clear waters.

>A short boat ride from Prison Island is Nakupenda Island which a gorgeous sandbank. Relax here and take pictures.

>Enjoy a mid-afternoon lunch at The Rock Restaurant. Perched on a rock in the Indian Ocean is the must-see, Rock Restaurant. Enjoy food and drinks with a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean.

>Later we will enjoy some entertainment at Kae Funk Beach where there will be live performances by dancers and a lovely beach bonfire. 

Embark on a scenic journey through the Menai Bay Conservation Area (home to a number of gorgeous, uninhabited islands) aboard a traditional wooden dhow boat. 

This unforgettable trip will be a full day excursion which includes sailing the translucent ocean, swimming, snorkelling, dolphin watching, enjoying the islets and having a tasty Swahili, seafood bbq lunch, and tropical fruits. 

>Spend the afternoon at your own leisure.

We will board a traditional dhow boat at Nungwi beach and sail along the crystal-clear ocean from Nungwi beach to Kendwa and Kilindi. Dance away to music & enjoy some entertainment while witnessing the best sunset views. Feel free to jump off the boat & go for swim.

>Later we will hit one of the island's best night out spots with the best DJs and live African dance performances.

Dive into an unforgettable adventure and swim alongside turtles in a unique tropical cave, known for its sea turtle conservation efforts.

Immerse yourself in the crystal- clear waters, where you can feed and interact with the turtles.

We will visit the Maasai World and have an experience with a real Maasai tribe. You will learn about the Maasai history and traditions, take part in some interactive activities, dance and take pictures with them.

>We will enjoy a goodbye dinner together followed by a special beach bonfire. Afterwards, we will end the night with a final 'bon voyage', fun night out!
