We will also embark on a spiritual quest to Cape Coast where you will learn about the history of the barbaric Trans-Atlantic slave trade.
This experience is extra special as Jackie is of Ghanaian descent and lives in Ghana, so there is no better person to show you around than Jackie herself.

You may choose to cancel your participation in a JWJ trip at any time; however please note to the following cancellation policy below:
At JWJ Travels, we are committed to delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. You have the option to cancel your initial reservation within the first 14 days after making the initial deposit, but please note that the deposit itself is non-refundable, and cannot be transferred to another trip.
All payments made toward the balance of your trip are non-refundable after five (5) days of the payment being made. This includes full payments, and monthly or weekly instalment payments and any late fees.
It is advised to purchase trip cancellation insurance as a precaution, in the unlikely event that JWJ Travels may cancel, modify or postpone the Getaway or any part of it for mitigating/extenuating circumstances.
Please also note that JWJ Travels is not liable for any incidental expenses or consequential losses sustained as a result of your booking being cancelled. This includes but is not limited to:
• Visas & vaccinations
• Flights, train tickets, or other transportation fees

Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Later, a welcome dinner will be held, featuring live music. This will be an excellent opportunity for everyone to introduce themselves and become acquainted. Additionally, important information will be shared to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the stay.
We kick off the trip with a visit to some of Accra’s most iconic gems and historical landmarks, including the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, Independence Square, and a stop at the Accra Art Centre for some shopping. Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. In the evening, we will begin the festivities with great vibes at Afrofuture, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience.
