The Guatemala Fuego trip is a 3-week immersion into the volcanic energy, rich culture, and breathtaking landscapes of Guatemala. From colonial streets to active volcanoes and vibrant traditions, this journey will ignite your adventurous spirit.
This experience blends remote work, cultural discovery, and outdoor exploration — a deep dive into the heart of Guatemala’s fire and soul.
We’ll be based in the charming town of Antigua for the full duration, with weekend adventures to nearby volcanoes, lakes, and hidden gems that showcase the country’s wild beauty.

Weekend 1: Arrival and get to know Antigua our casita for 3 weeks.
Weekend 2: Overnight hike to Volcano Acatenango and Volcano Fuego Trek
Weekend 3: 3-day/2-night trip to Lake Atitlán (Please coordinate 1 day off for this adventure!)

Our home is located in a prime location in the heart of Antigua, just a short walk from cozy cafés, local restaurants, the central plaza, and nearby gyms. The entire area is safe and walkable — perfect for enjoying the city’s cobblestone streets and vibrant charm.
The house features a communal kitchen, a peaceful inner patio, and two rooftop terraces ideal for working, relaxing, or sharing sunset moments with the group.
Your spot is secured with a $500 deposit — this officially holds your place while we bring the group together
A trip is confirmed once we reach 6 members or 45 days before departure, whichever comes first.
If the trip does not reach the minimum number of travelers, you’ll receive a 100% refund.

Surprise goodies!
All-inclusive overnight hike to Acatenango Volcano (4 meals included). Camp above the clouds and wake up to a breathtaking sunrise. Option to add the Fuego hike!
We’ll stay in a beautiful villa right on the shores of the lake. Transportation and accommodation are included. We’ll also spend a day town-hopping through some of the lake’s most emblematic villages.
We also include community activities like Noma Circles, Skillshares, and Noma Brews.

Except as specified above, daily food is not included. However, we do have a communal kitchen on-site.
🔷 Saturday, Oct 31st: Arrival day! Check-in, start exploring the town, and end the day with a Welcome Dinner to meet the group.
🔷 Sunday, Nov 1st: We’ll begin the day with a traditional Guatemalan breakfast, then do a walking tour through Antigua.
Our first week working remotely from Antigua, Guatemala.
During the weekdays, we will have activities post-working hours around this vibrant town, including salsa classes, food tastings, and local outings.
We will also have skill-sharing sessions and family dinners within our group.
🔹 Saturday, Nov 7- Sunday, Nov. 8: We’ll be picked up at 8 AM to start this adventure. The hike to base camp is about 8 km and can take around 5-6 hours, depending on the breaks we take. It’s not an easy hike, but if you're in good shape, you can definitely make it to base camp.
There are two additional hikes available. One is right after reaching the base camp: the Fuego hike, where you can get closer to the volcano and, if you're lucky, witness eruptions up close. The other hike is in the early morning to reach the summit of Acatenango.
We will be returning back to Antigua on Sunday around 2pm.
Accommodation and 4 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and breakfast) are included. You can rent gear at an additional cost.
We will continue working from beautiful Antigua, whether you choose to stay at our comfortable in-house coworking space or explore local coffee shops for inspiration.
The week will also be filled with optional post-working hour activities!
🔹 Friday, Nov 13 - Sunday, Nov 15:
We’ll be leaving Friday morning (please coordinate to take the day off). We’ll be staying by the lake, visiting picturesque towns, and enjoying Stand-Up Paddleboarding.
We’ll return to Antigua late Sunday night.

Our trip ends in Antigua, Guatemala. This city is very close to the international airport located in Guatemala City. It is very accessible adn you can coordinate leaving at the time that suits you better.
