This exciting 3-day itinerary gives you the best of Tanzania’s southern circuit:

Each tour starts and ends in Dar es Salaam. The highlight is the full-day safari to Mikumi, done in comfort and style via the SGR Express Train, making it a fast, affordable, and scenic journey.

48+ Hours Before Tour Date: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit (if applicable).
24-48 Hours Before Tour Date: 50% refund.
Less than 24 Hours / No Show: No refund.
Rescheduling: Allowed once at no extra cost if requested 48+ hours before the tour date. Subject to availability.

Children Policy

Ages 0-3: Free of charge (must be accompanied by an adult).
Ages 4-10: 50% of the adult price.
Ages 11+: Full adult price.
All children must be under the supervision of an adult throughout the tour.

Day 1

Full-Day Mikumi Safari via SGR Train

05:30 AM – Transfer to Dar SGR Station
06:00 AM – Depart to Morogoro via express train
07:30 AM – Arrival and transfer by 4x4 to Mikumi National Park
09:30 AM – Full-day game drive: lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more
Hot lunch at park restaurant or picnic site
04:30 PM – Transfer back to Morogoro SGR station
07:30 PM – Return to Dar es Salaam by train
08:45 PM – Drop-off at hotel

Day 2

Dar es Salaam City & Culture Tour

Explore key heritage and cultural sites:
   Askari Monument, Old Boma, House of African Liberation
   National Museum, Botanical Gardens
   Kariakoo Market, Ferry Fish Market

    Village Museum (optional traditional dance)
   Lunch at Swahili restaurant
   Overnight at hotel

Day 3

Sinda/Mbudya Islands Marine Excursions

08:00 AM – Transfer to Kigamboni/Jangwani sea breaze
09:00 AM – Boat ride to Sinda Island
Snorkeling, swimming, beach walk, optional island hike
Seafood lunch served on the island
Return to the mainland by 4:00 PM
Drop-off at hotel or airport
