Join The Bump Collective, a group of women seeking to serve our perinatal community, for a luxurious lakefront getaway. This trip is designed for expecting moms looking for education, self-care, and community. Participants will have intimate access to ask questions of our experts, including a prenatal yoga teacher, prenatal massage therapist, lactation consultant, doula, and pelvic floor physical therapist.
The extended weekend will kick off with a Mocktails + Mingle, designed by our wellness chef, nutrition health coach, and author, Jennie Casselman. Jennie will be on site throughout the weekend providing delicious and nutritious meals designed specifically for pregnancy! Each day will be filled with yoga designed to encourage pelvic mobility and labor preparation, as well as a 60-minute massage from our prenatal licensed massage therapist. Throughout the weekend, our experts will offer presentations and conversations where moms can ask any and all questions surrounding breastfeeding, labor and delivery, massage for babies, pelvic floor preparation and toning, and more.
Participants are responsible for getting themselves to and from Lake Norman.
Participants will arrive at the lake in time for mocktails, and an opportunity to get to know the retreat hosts and other moms before dinner, a light stretch, and an easy evening at the lake!
The day will begin with a delicious breakfast, followed by a yoga flow designed especially for expecting moms, geared to help prepare for labor and delivery. Pelvic floor physical therapist, Joanne Price PT, DPT, COMT, will offer a presentation, followed by time for Q+A. After lunch, certified doula Maryn Moran will lead a conversation about all things labor, delivery, and postpartum, including affirmations and other tools helping to empower moms. After dinner, the day will finish up with a gentle stretch before relaxation and bed.
Saturday will start with another delicious and nutritious breakfast. Clients will have the chance to participate in a mini maternity shoot with photographer Priscilla Greene (a $750 value!) before settling in for a Massage for Babies demonstration from massage therapist Marilyn Glinka. After another amazing lunch, clients will get to experience a presentation from lactation consultant, Laura Fellows, IBCLC, followed by an opportunity to ask questions! The evening will wrap up with another amazing meal and gentle movement, followed by relaxation and rest.
Sunday morning will be a slow return to reality with a simple grab n’ go breakfast, leaving space for participants to enjoy a relaxing morning to pack and say goodbye before heading home.
