Arrive in Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech - Countryside Villa

Accommodation: Traditional countryside villa

  • Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport

  • Private transfer to your countryside villa retreat

  • Welcome dinner featuring traditional Moroccan cuisine

  • Relax and recover from your journey in peaceful rural surroundings

Marrakech to Agdz via Tizi n'Tichka & Ait Benhaddou

  • Depart after breakfast for your desert journey

  • Cross the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m) through the High Atlas Mountains

  • Stop for panoramic photo opportunities of the mountain valleys

  • Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, the famous fortified ksar featured in numerous Hollywood films

  • Guided tour of the ancient ksar

  • Lunch (not included)

  • Continue through the Draa Valley with its palm groves and kasbahs

  • Arrive in Agdz in the late afternoon/evening

  • Dinner and overnight in Agdz

Agdz to Desert Camp via Tamegroute

  • Morning visit to a local kasbah and traditional garden in the Draa Valley

  • Drive through stunning desert landscapes

  • Arrive in Tamegroute, famous for its distinctive green pottery

  • Pottery workshop tour - watch artisans create traditional ceramics using centuries-old techniques

  • Visit the Zaouia Naciria Library, one of the oldest libraries in Morocco, housing ancient Islamic manuscripts and Qurans dating back to the 12th century

  • Continue into the desert

  • Arrive at your luxury desert camp before sunset

  • Sunset camel trek or 4x4 excursion to the dunes

Duration: 2 days, 1 night deeper in the Sahara

This is the heart of your adventure - a true immersion into nomadic Amazigh life, guided by an authentic Amazigh expert who will teach you traditional desert survival and cultural practices.

  • Morning in the deep desert, final lessons and photographs

  • Return to the main desert camp (Arawan)

  • Final night under the Sahara stars

Day 7

Desert to Marrakech via Tazenakht

  • Sunrise farewell to the Sahara

  • Breakfast at camp

  • Depart for Marrakech after breakfast

  • Stop in Tazenakht, famous for its Amazigh carpets and rugs

  • Optional visit to carpet cooperatives to see weavers at work

  • Lunch en route (not included)

  • Cross back through the High Atlas Mountains

  • Arrive in Marrakech in the early evening

  • Check into your riad in the medina

  • Evening at leisure - optional dinner in a local restaurant or your riad

Half-Day Marrakech Discovery Tour

  • Breakfast at your riad

  • Morning guided tour of Marrakech (approximately 4 hours)

    • Jemaa el-Fnaa Square - the beating heart of Marrakech

    • Koutoubia Mosque - the city's most famous landmark

    • Bahia Palace - stunning 19th-century palace with beautiful gardens

    • Souks - navigate the labyrinthine markets with your expert guide

    • Optional visits: Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa, or Majorelle Garden

  • Tour ends around 1:00 PM

  • Lunch not included

  • Afternoon and evening at leisure for personal exploration
