Step into the breathtaking landscapes of southern Utah for a 6-day women’s retreat that invites stillness, awe, and deep connection. Surrounded by red rock canyons, ancient petroglyphs, and star-filled skies, this journey offers time to ground, reflect, and experience nature as both mirror and medicine.
We'll gather in community, hike through stunning terrain, engage in ceremony and journaling, and explore what it means to live rooted and radiant. With cozy lodging, nourishing food, and a supportive sisterhood, this is the ideal reset for your body, spirit, and soul.

You’ll join a group Zoom call before the trip to meet your hosts and fellow travelers, review logistics, and begin setting your intentions. You'll receive your Honest Heart journal upon arrival.
We also invite you to read Sue Monk Kidd's book, When the Heart Waits, prior to the trip. It's a beautiful guide through an individual journey of spiritual rediscovery which will open inspired dialog during our time together.
Check in at the River Terrace Inn, then gather at 8:00 PM for a welcome circle and trip orientation with our river guides. You’ll receive your waterproof gear bags and begin connecting with the group. (Group shuttle available from SLC Airport.)
A short flight over the Tavaputs Plateau delivers you to Sand Wash, where our river adventure begins. After lunch on the river’s edge, we paddle into the canyon and set up our first camp. You’ll ease into river life with time for journaling, hiking, and evening reflection.
Each day brings something new—waking to canyon light, swimming in clear water, floating through rapids, and hiking to hidden ruins or petroglyphs. You’ll choose your pace: paddle a “duckie,” ride as a passenger, or hike a canyon rim for breathtaking views.

After a final float and celebratory swim, we take out around midday and shuttle back to Green River (arriving approx. 3–4 PM). A hot shower and optional casual dinner close out the experience. Breakfast provided the next morning before departure. (Group airport shuttle available.)
Your Honest Heart journey continues even after you arrive home. We'll host a follow up call for our new trip community to share inspiring take-aways and continue with additional opportunities to stay connected with new friends, and with us. And, perhaps we'll see you on another trip!
And we hope you'll follow the Honest Heart Podcast, which dives into the kinds of discussions around women's changing lives that we explore on this trip. We want to continue to grow together!
