4 Nights at Rancho Tofino

Location : Rancho Tofino, 1432 Pacific Rim Highway, Tofino, BC V0R 2Z0, Canada

Rancho Tofino is the perfect retreat space for those looking to get away from it all. Nestled in the old-growth forest, this custom-built cedar home is steps away from the surf and sand of Cox Bay. Vaulted ceilings, bedroom patios, private outdoor showers and a large south-facing yard make this the perfect place to relax and unwind. With forest views from every room, a fully stocked kitchen, heated floors, hand-crafted furniture, a wood stove, and hot outdoor showers, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Rooms are all shared between 2 women with everyone in their own twin bed. Two bathrooms are shared by the group. With shared living space, this large home is ideal for shared meals, quiet space to read or do yoga as well as laugh and share stories.

Meals & Dining

Nourishing food is a big part of this experience. Most meals will be enjoyed at our cozy home base in Rancho Tofino, where we will prepare fresh, healthy, and satisfying meals designed to fuel your days on the water and on the trail.

Expect excellent-quality, home-style food with a West Coast feel — wholesome, energizing, and made with care. This is not “camp food” — it’s the kind of relaxed, delicious meals that make you feel looked after while still keeping the adventure spirit.

To give you a taste of Tofino’s local flavour, one lunch and one dinner will be enjoyed at popular local eateries. You’ll also have one lunch on your own during your independent time in Tofino, so you can explore, wander, and choose whatever sounds perfect in the moment. * The cost of this lunch out is NOT included, but you may choose a picnic lunch that IS included instead.*

It’s a beautiful balance of comfort, community, and local coastal dining.

All Skill Levels Welcome

This trip is the perfect way to get away from it all and enjoy some of the best scenery that Tofino has to offer. While it does require some basic SUP skills, all skill levels are welcome. The same goes for hiking and surfing/SUP surfing. Beginner level surfers and hikers will find plenty to challenge them, while more experienced participants can enjoy the amazing views and scenery. So whether you're a beginner or an experienced outdoor enthusiast, this trip is sure to have something for you.

Explore Pacific Rim National Park

Pacific Rim National Park is an outstanding region in Western Canada showcasing the Pacific Coast Mountains characterized by rugged coasts and temperate rainforests. Widespread vegetation found in the park includes western hemlock, Sitka spruce, western red-cedar, deer fern and sword fern. Animal species vary from marine and intertidal species, such as humpback whales and ochre sea star, to terrestrial mammals, such as the sea-wolves.

The park boundaries exclude 21 Indian reserves belonging to seven different First Nations, though most of the park is claimed as part of their traditional territories which were never ceded, including the Huu-ay-aht, Ditidaht, Pacheedaht, and the Hupacasath. In the Long Beach area where the Tla-o-qui-aht claim traditional territory, they have declared the entire Kennedy Lake watershed, as well as Meares Island, as a tribal park.

Paddle in Clayoquot Sound

As we paddle through the still waters of Clayoquot Sound, we will keep our eyes peeled for signs of wildlife. This area is home to a variety of animals, including harbour seals, black bears, and bald eagles. While we might not see all of these creatures on our outing, it is always fun to keep an eye out for them. As we enjoy the peacefulness of the Sound, we will also learn about its history. This area has long been a place of significance for the First Nations people who have called it home for centuries. Today, it is a popular tourist destination, known for its natural beauty and abundance of wildlife. Whether we see any animals on our journey or not, we are sure to have a memorable experience exploring this special place.

Hike Meare's Island Big Tree Trail

The Big Tree Trail at Wanachus-Hilthuuis (Meares Island) Tribal Park is the local Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation's flagship visitor experience. A short boat ride from Tofino takes us to this can't miss boardwalk trail.

Learn to Surf

Tofino is world-renowned for its surfing and there's no better place to give it a try than right here. Our expert instructors can take you from the basics right up to advanced surf techniques in this two-hour lesson. Catch a wave, and there will be no turning back. Learn ocean and wave safety, equipment orientation, etiquette on the water, how to catch waves, basic surf moves and much more. If you've always wanted to surf but weren't sure how to get started, this is the perfect opportunity. Come experience the thrill of riding a wave on a surf board in Canada's surfing playground.

Meet Your Local Guide

Pam Martin is the founder of Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures and a professional stand-up paddleboard guide and coach based on Vancouver Island, BC. She creates women’s experiences that are equal parts adventure, confidence-building, and connection — designed to help guests feel strong, supported, and inspired on the water.

With a deep love for the West Coast and years of guiding experience, Pam is known for creating trips that feel beautifully organized, welcoming, and grounded. Her approach blends safety, skill development, and a calm, encouraging style that helps women try new things, build trust in themselves, and enjoy the journey at their own pace.

Pam also brings a unique coastal perspective shaped by her background in marine biologyphotography, and journalism — a mix that deepens the experience through curiosity, storytelling, and a strong sense of place. Whether it’s noticing the small details in a tide line, sharing the story behind a stretch of coastline, or creating space to pause and take it all in, she helps guests connect more meaningfully with the ocean around them.

Whether it’s paddling the coastline, sharing stories over good food, or soaking in the wild beauty of places like Tofino and Pender Island, Pam’s trips are about more than just the activity — they’re about creating space to reconnect with nature, with yourself, and with a like-minded community of women.

Through Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures, Pam invites women to step into adventure with confidence and let the coast set the pace.
