Welcome to Hemlock Hut!
Experience three full days of guided small-group ski touring and three cozy nights in our exclusive backcountry hut. Perfect for up to four advanced to expert riders, our hut trips offer a private ski touring getaway in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains near Revelstoke. With morning helicopter transfers, you’ll spend less time getting there and more time immersed in the adventure. These trips are highly experiential, designed to maximize your time exploring our dedicated touring zone and enjoying the comfort of our private hut.
BOOKING INFO: All bookings are exclusive hut buyouts based on 4-person occupancy. Whether solo or with a group, the total price is $7,560 (tax included).
AGE REQUIREMENT: Revelstoke Backcountry Guides has a 19+ age policy unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All participants, or their parent/legal guardian in the case of an approved minor under 19, must review and agree to our Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement (the “Waiver”) for the applicable season as a condition of participating in the trip. If the Waiver is not completed, the individual will not be permitted to participate.

If you are booking on behalf of others, you are responsible for informing all participants of this Waiver Requirement and ensuring they are aware of the terms of the Waiver. This requirement applies to all participants, including those added to a reservation at a later date. A paper copy of the Waiver will also be available at the start of your trip.
Revelstoke Guides reserves the right to update the Waiver each season. If you are booking well in advance, the current season’s Waiver will be provided prior to your final payment. PLEASE READ THE WAIVER CAREFULLY PRIOR TO MAKING ANY PAYMENT.

We recommend bank transfer in your local currency, as there are no additional fees.
Credit card payments are accepted but subject to a 2.9% processing fee.
Our 225 square foot backcountry hut is a completely off-grid cabin with a cozy wood stove for heat, a propane stove for cooking, solar power for lights and charging. Best suited for groups comfortable with smaller spaces and remote backcountry living. It's equipped with a sleeping loft with skiers sharing two double beds with all bedding/sleeping bags. It's equipped with all necessary backcountry items provided and simple meals flown in with the group and prepared together each day.
Situated at 2000m elevation, the hut location works perfectly for mid-winter ski touring and offer runs from 250m to 850m, mostly in the "treeline" elevation band. Our small team is intimately familiar with the zone and can confidently deliver conservative and enjoyable ski programs to suit any weather and avalanche conditions. Terrain ranges from moderate open slopes in the "outfield" to steep chutes and treed paths and pillowy first growth forests. Most groups average about 1200m of elevation gain per day over several ascents and descents with opportunities to do more vertical or more interesting ski lines as conditions and group ability permit. As a guide team, we pride ourselves on leading smooth, risk appropriate tours featuring excellent snow.
