Sail into Paradise

The Seychelles are a truly magical place on our beautiful planet. Silky sand beaches, exotic, lush forests, rich flora and fauna and a lot more make this one of the most unique travel destinations. It's a place that truly looks and feels like on the postcards.

The bests way to explore these islands is with sailing - there are 4 major islands and many more little islets that are worth seeing. Simply not possible on a traditional holiday, where you will have to organise daily trips, car rentals, boat transfers and so on. Visiting the Seychelles with a catamaran gives us access to all the most beautiful beaches, national parks and a lot of hidden gems - all in one week.

Sample Itinerary

The beauty of sailing is that we can set our own rhythm and choose our own destinations as we please. We will sit down every day and go though the options and decide together what we want to do. The weather plays a huge role also, depending on the wind and waves some bays might be more suited for the next day than others. That said, there are some things we definitely want to experience:

  1. Praslin: The 2nd largest of the Inner Seychelles, this island has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We can explore Valle de Mai, the stunning national park where we can see the local Coco de Mer.

  2. La Digue. Our favourite island. We should spend a whole day here, renting bicycles and riding around the island. Grand Anse beach is one of the wonders of this area. There are also no cars here, so we can enjoy true tropical vibes for a day.

  3. Curiouse: Famous for its national park where we can see the unique giant turtles in the Tortoise Sanctuary.

  4. Mahe: We start and finish our trip here. We can explore the Spice Garden, a park with incredible flora. Sauzier Waterfall is also on our list, a beautiful waterfall with a lake where we can swim.

  5. Coco Island: Tiny uninhabited islet, where we can feel like real sea explorers. If we arrive early, we can be the only people on land!

  6. St. Pierre: Stunning islet with amazing snorkelling around it.

This is just a brief overview of what we will see and experience, these islands have a lot to offer!
