About your trip

Ride deep into the Teton Wilderness on a five-day horseback journey that lets you truly settle into the rhythm of the mountains. Guided by the seasoned crew at Jackson Hole Outfitters, this adventure combines classic Western heritage with the quiet comfort of a well-run camp. Over the course of five days, you’ll travel through country once explored by trappers and early outfitters—crossing clear streams, climbing through pine forests, and riding high along open ridgelines that reveal the vastness of Wyoming’s backcountry.

Depending on your group and interests, your route may lead to our remote Soda Fork Camp or one of several high-country basins or river valleys dotted with alpine lakes and wildflower meadows. Days are spent riding, fishing, and exploring new country; evenings bring the smell of wood smoke, hearty cowboy meals, and easy conversation around the fire as the sun sets behind the peaks.

Perfect for families, couples, or small groups ready for a true backcountry escape, this trip gives you time to unplug completely and reconnect with the landscape and one another. Whether you’re casting a fly into a quiet stream, glassing a distant ridge for wildlife, or simply soaking in the stillness of camp, you’ll understand why guests say five days in the wilderness never feels long enough.
