About your trip

This 7-night immersive study tour to South Korea offers teachers a unique blend of professional development and cultural discovery. With visits to local schools in Gyeonggi province, educators will engage in meaningful exchanges with Korean students and teachers. The program also explores South Korea’s dynamic history, traditional heritage, and contemporary life—from the serenity of Bukchon Hanok Village to the historical significance of the DMZ.

This tour is ideal for educators seeking global insight, inspiration, and intercultural understanding.

Day 1

Day 1 image

Arrival in Korea – Welcome & Briefing

Upon arrival in Seoul, meet your program coordinator and fellow participants. Transfer to your accommodation and enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation session outlining the week’s schedule and school visit expectations. 

Day 2

Day 2 image

Transfer to School Area – Begin School Program

Depart Seoul for your assigned school in either Gyeonggi Province. Settle into your accommodation near the school and begin your first day of cultural and professional exchange with Korean educators and students. 

Day 3

School Engagement & Local Site Visit

 Continue your school immersion program—observing classes, interacting with students, and learning from local teaching practices. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided cultural site visit in the region (e.g. Hwaseong Fortress, Namhansanseong, or a local market). 

Day 4

Day 4 image

Farewell & Return to Seoul

Say goodbye to your host teachers and students in the morning. After lunch, explore one final cultural site in the province before returning to Seoul in the late afternoon.

Seoul Culture Day – Tradition & Modernity

 Spend a full day exploring the heart of Seoul. Visit iconic sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, and Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Optional: add a free day for self-guided exploration or shopping.

DMZ Visit

 Take a guided trip to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)—a place of profound historical and political significance. Return to Seoul.

Day 7

Free Exploration Day in Seoul

 Enjoy a leisure day to explore Seoul at your own pace. Optional ideas include visiting a Korean spa (jjimjilbang), hiking up Namsan, café hopping in Hongdae, or exploring K-pop culture in Gangnam. Your program coordinator will offer maps, suggestions, and optional group meetups, but the day is yours.

Departure from Korea

Transfer to the airport for your departure. Depart Korea with professional insights, new international connections, and unforgettable memories.
