Join Artshack at Camp Singers for a hands-on ceramic pit firing workshop in the stunning Catskills! Over the course of the weekend, you'll create your own unique clay pieces and learn the ancient art of pit firing—where ceramics are fired in an open pit using natural materials like wood, sawdust, and leaves to create rich, organic surface patterns. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you'll discover the techniques of this primitive firing method and leave with one-of-a-kind ceramics, a deeper appreciation for the process, and a connection to the natural world around you.
No experience required! This is a beginner-friendly camp with instruction suitable for all skill levels.
Campers will enjoy meals together, recreational options like hiking, boating, hot tub, sauna, fishing, campfires, archery, stargazing, birding, arts & crafts, and swimming at our pool club.
Prices listed are per person.

Common spaces include: large dining area overlooking the woods, fireside kitchen seating, extensive chef's kitchen, game/craft table and gathering room, studio space and recreational activities.
