We invite our couples into this sacred, evocatively atmospheric space tucked within this historic setting. Alqa Museo invites you to step deeper into the story of the Sacred Valley. More than a gallery and restaurant, it is a space devoted to preserving authenticity—where ancestral art, tradition, and flavor come together to honor the legacy of the Incas and the timeless beauty of Ollantaytambo.

Begin your evening with a comforting drink — choose between rich, heart-warming cacao or a soothing muña tea infusion. You may also add on a private journey through the Andean folk-art museum, where each handcrafted piece tells the story of ancient rituals, spiritual cosmologies, and the living soul of the Andes.

From there, you’ll be guided to an enchanted hidden garden, where your beloved will discover a romantic pergola adorned with eucalyptus, twinkling string lights, and glowing candles, warmed by a cozy fire—an intimate stage crafted for your surprise proposal moment under a sky full of Andean stars.

After your magical moment, savor a three-course gastronomic experience in the Aja Wasi (see photos), a dimly lit, intimate room once the property’s original kitchen, now reborn as a haven of rustic elegance. Its gastronomic offering is a tribute to the Andean farmer and to pre-Hispanic nutritional concepts and practices, celebrating native ingredients and ancestral traditions. (Please note: dinner in Aja Wasi is an intimate experience but may not be a completely private space—private rental of the space is available for US$290 per hour.)
