To get to Bocas del Toro, can take 1 of 2 routes.
If you fly through Panama City, you will transfer to the other airport, Panama City (PAC). We suggest flying direct on the overnight flight on Copa Airlines, Saturday, March 21 so you can arrive at Tocumen International Airport Panama (PTY) in the early morning. You will then transfer to the Albrook Gelabert Airport (PAC) via taxi, which can take 40+ minutes depending on traffic. Please give yourself at least 3 hours between flights. Then you'll connect from Panama City (PAC) to Bocas (BOC). There are late afternoon flights available.
If you fly through San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), you will connect on a flight to Bocas del Toro (BOC). There is a direct flight on Southwest Airlines on Sunday March 22, so you can arrive at San Jose (SJO) to connect to Bocas (BOC).
To return home, we recommend flying out of Bocas on Sunday, March 29. Since it may not be possible to connect to an afternoon flight, we recommend an overnight in either San Jose or Panama City, and connect on a return flight Monday March 30.
