Main Focus

This BALANCE training centres around personal practice. There are notable teaching components, but teaching well involves first and foremost, personal practice. Participants are required to have completed 200H Yoga Certification or at least 2-years of regular yoga/ movement practice.

The Curriculum

This 100-Hour BALANCE Intensive is designed for practitioners and teachers seeking to significantly elevate their personal practice. While not a teacher-training module, the depth of study naturally enhances your ability to guide others — which is why approximately 80% of past participants have been existing yoga teachers.

Key areas of study include:

  • Inversion + Arm Balance
Learn how to achieve challenging skills safely and receive effective tools for guiding others towards their version of balance.

  • Anatomy & Physiology
Deepen your understanding of functional anatomy, biomechanics, and the science of movement. Apply this knowledge directly to safe and effective sequencing.

  • Hatha Fusion Methodology
Study the structure and subtlety of the Hatha system, including advanced asana breakdowns, sequencing strategies, and alignment principles.

  • Meditation & Self-Inquiry
Establish a consistent meditation practice and explore methods of self-reflection that cultivate awareness, authenticity, and resilience.

  • Functional Movement
Incorporate modern mobility training, fascia integration, and strength-based practices that support sustainable longevity in life.

  • Teaching Skills
Hone your voice, rhythm, and presence as a teacher. Practice giving and receiving feedback within supportive peer groups to refine your unique teaching style.

Additionally you will...

✔️ Deep dive into Fascia & Structural Integration

✔️ Learn a multitude of different Pranayama Techniques

✔️ Work in small teaching breakout groups for individualized mentoring

✔️ Learn the Art of Giving & Receiving Useful Feedback

✔️ Understand Rhythm & Voice Control

✔️ And so much more!

The Setting

Your intensive unfolds on the island of Koh Samui, in a beautiful cliff-side, sea-view venue that becomes your home for 9 transformative days. Overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, this environment naturally invites depth — the kind of depth that comes when practice, study, community, and nature work together.

From sunrise meditations to evening wind-down sessions, the sound of the ocean, tropical gardens, and warm island air create an atmosphere ideal for focused training, introspection, and genuine progress. Between sessions, enjoy access to the venue’s amenities: ocean-facing practice spaces, peaceful lounging areas, a pool for cooling off, and walking paths that lead straight to the sea.

This is more than a training — it is a full reset, a return to discipline, and a rare opportunity to prioritize your growth without distraction.

Accommodations & Nourishment

Throughout the 9-day / 8-night intensive, you’ll be cared for in every way — body, mind, and spirit. Our cliff-side home for the intensive offers full-sized ensuite rooms with stunning ocean views, designed to support deep rest between full training days. Both single and shared accommodation options are available; if you select a shared room, you may book solo and will be paired with another participant of the same gender on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meals are enjoyed at the Life Café, an open-air, sea-view dining space perched above the brilliant blue Gulf of Thailand. The café is open daily and serves vibrant, fresh cuisine made with whole-food, consciously sourced ingredients. You’ll enjoy a blend of buffet-style offerings and à la carte options, with meals designed to support high-energy training days and all dietary requirements accommodated.

As a participant, you’ll also enjoy access to the venue’s lifestyle facilities, including world-class ocean-view yoga salas, a rejuvenating spa, a cliff-side infinity pool, a juice bar, private beach access, meditation rocks, and peaceful spaces ideal for journaling, resting, or simply absorbing the natural beauty of Koh Samui. Every aspect of the environment is designed to enrich your practice and elevate your experience.

Room Rates

NOTE - Rooms are assigned first come first serve. Room Rates are based on the number of occupants per room. Any changes in room occupancy will result in an adjustment to the per-person rate. For example, if you purchase "Double" but we have an odd number of registrations and no one to share the room with you, the hotel requires an additional fee of US$540 (essentially a discounted upgrade to "Single"). The additional fees and adjusted tuition for each accommodation type are as follows for early-bird:

  • Prana Cabana Single - Not Applicable

  • Prana Cabana Double: $540 (adjusted tuition = $1,882.16)

  • Prana Cabana PLUS Single - Not Applicable

  • Prana Cabana PLUS Double: $540 (adjusted tuition = $2,061.13)

  • Lotus Pad PLUS Single- Not Applicable

  • Lotus Pad PLUS Double : $540 (adjusted tuition = $1,918.00)

To avoid additional fee's, the hotel recommends registering earlier (first come first serve means whomever registers LAST may be liable for the additional fee, but not those who register earlier and are already paired up) OR with a friend or group of friends to ensure your room rate does not change.

Contact info@danielrama.com if you have any questions about additional fee's.
