Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please review the cancellation terms carefully before booking:

Non-Refundable Deposit

All deposits are non-refundable. However, a future trip credit will be issued for the full deposit amount, which can be applied toward any future Go Away With Katie group trip.

Cancellations Made More Than 90 Days Before Departure

If you cancel more than 90 days before your trip’s start date:

  • Your deposit will be retained as a credit toward a future Go Away With Katie trip.

  • All other payments made will be fully refunded.

Cancellations Within 90 Days of Departure

If you cancel within 90 days of your trip’s start date:

  • No refunds will be issued for any payments, including the deposit.

  • At this stage, all local payments and reservations have been made, and funds are non-recoverable. (This is why you have Travel Insurance.)

Airfare

Flights are not included in the trip price. However, as a full-service travel agent, Katie is happy to assist you with finding and booking the best flights for your schedule and budget.

Meals Not Mentioned

Most lunches and dinners are at your own expense. (Restaurants listed in the itinerary are for planning purposes only.)

Metro/RER Passes

Travelers will purchase their own Metro and train passes upon arrival. Katie will walk you through the entire setup process — you won’t be doing it alone.

Private Room Supplement

Rooms are double occupancy. If you would like a private room, upgrades are available for an additional cost.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is required for this trip. Your policy must cover the full cost of your trip and your flights.

Personal Expenses

Souvenirs, snacks, shopping, and optional activities during free time.

Passport Fees & Visas

A valid passport is required for travel to Europe, and it must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. If you have questions, Katie is happy to assist you.

Day 1

Arrival in Paris + Settle In

Welcome to Paris! After landing, you’ll make your way to the airport train station, where Katie will be waiting to greet you. From there, she’ll help you get set up with your Metro/RER transportation pass and personally guide you on the train into the city.


Once we arrive near Hotel Toujours, you’ll check in, settle into your room, and take a moment to relax before we officially begin our Paris 2.0 experience.


After settling in, we’ll start our adventure with a visit to Les Invalides, home to the Musée de l’Armée and Napoleon’s Tomb. This is a flexible and meaningful first-day activity that works beautifully no matter what time your flight arrives.

French Market Tour + Cooking Class

Today we dive straight into the heart of Parisian cuisine with a hands-on French Market Tour and Cooking Class at La Cuisine Paris. We’ll explore a local market, learn about seasonal ingredients, and then head into the kitchen to prepare a full French meal together. This experience is immersive, educational, and always a guest favorite.


After our class, we’ll take a short walk to the Musée Carnavalet, a beautifully restored museum dedicated to the history of Paris. This museum is an elegant blend of art, architecture, and storytelling — a perfect complement to our morning food experience.


The evening is yours to relax, enjoy a quiet dinner, or explore a new Parisian neighborhood at your own pace.

Monet’s Gardens in Giverny + Galerie Vivienne

Today we leave the city for a peaceful and scenic escape to Giverny, the home and gardens of Claude Monet. You’ll explore Monet’s charming pink house, stroll through the flower-filled pathways, and see the iconic water lily pond and Japanese bridge that inspired some of his most famous masterpieces. It’s a serene, beautiful experience perfect for art lovers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys the calming countryside.


We’ll return to Paris by late afternoon. Once back in the city, we’ll visit the elegant Galerie Vivienne, one of Paris’s most beautiful covered passages. With its mosaic floors, glass ceilings, charming boutiques, and timeless Parisian atmosphere, this is the perfect place for a relaxed stroll and a lovely transition back into the city.


After exploring, we’ll enjoy dinner at a restaurant in the Galerie Vivienne neighborhood (selection TBA), making for a relaxed and convenient end to the day.

Day 4

Montmartre Food & Wine Tour + Moulin Rouge

Today we head to the charming hilltop neighborhood of Montmartre for a delicious and immersive food & wine experience. On this guided tour, you’ll sample pastries, cheeses, charcuterie, specialty foods, and French wines as you wander through picturesque streets and learn about the history and culture of this iconic Parisian district.


After a relaxing afternoon break, we’ll return to Montmartre in the evening for the world-famous Moulin Rouge. This legendary cabaret offers a spectacular performance filled with breathtaking choreography, dazzling costumes, and unforgettable energy — the perfect Parisian night out.

Musée d’Orsay, Petit Palais & Musée Rodin

Today is all about iconic art, architecture, and some of the most beautiful scenery in Paris. We’ll begin our morning at the Musée d’Orsay, famous for its breathtaking Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces. The museum’s grand former train station setting is a highlight in itself.


Afterward, we’ll enjoy a picturesque walk across Pont Alexandre III, one of Paris’s most ornate and photographed bridges. With its golden statues, elegant lamps, and sweeping Seine views, it’s a perfect place for photos and a relaxed break between museums.


Just across the bridge is the Petit Palais, where we’ll visit the free permanent collection right as the crowds begin to build. The museum’s Beaux-Arts architecture and stunning courtyard make it a beautiful stop, even for returning visitors.


We’ll finish the afternoon at the Musée Rodin, where you can explore both the indoor galleries and the serene sculpture garden featuring masterpieces such as The Thinker, The Kiss, and The Gates of Hell.


Your evening is free to enjoy dinner on your own or unwind at the hotel.

Dior Museum, Shopping Day & Final Dinner at Le Train Bleu

Our final full day in Paris is dedicated to fashion, beauty, and celebrating the end of our Paris 2.0 adventure. We’ll begin with a timed-entry visit to the stunning Dior Museum (La Galerie Dior), an immersive and beautifully curated space showcasing haute couture, archival pieces, and the creative history of the House of Dior. This is a must-see experience and a highlight for lovers of fashion, design, photography, and artistry.


After exploring the museum, we’ll enjoy lunch at the nearby Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, famous for its classic steak-frites and signature sauce — a true Parisian favorite.


The afternoon is reserved for our dedicated shopping time at Galeries Lafayette, where you’ll have several hours to explore fashion, beauty, perfume, accessories, luxury brands, and Parisian finds.


In the early evening, we’ll return to the hotel so you can drop off your shopping bags and freshen up before our final night out.


We’ll make a quick stop at Rue Crémieux, one of Paris’s most colorful and photogenic streets, before heading to our farewell dinner at the iconic Le Train Bleu inside Gare de Lyon. This Belle Époque restaurant is the perfect finale to our curated week in Paris. (Dinner at your own cost.)

Departure Day

It’s time to say au revoir to Paris. After breakfast, you’ll check out of the hotel and prepare for your journey home. Katie will coordinate group Uber or taxi transportation to the airport based on your individual flight times, making your departure smooth and stress-free.


Depending on when you fly out, you may have a little extra time in the morning to grab one last croissant, soak in the views, or pick up any final souvenirs.
