This two-day safari offers the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destinations Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Designed for travelers with limited time who still want a rich and authentic safari experience, this journey combines incredible wildlife viewing, stunning landscapes, and comfortable lodge accommodation.

From Tarangire’s large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees to the wildlife-filled floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, this short safari delivers exceptional game viewing and unforgettable moments in just two days.

Guests will be picked up from their hotel or residence in Arusha or Moshi and meet their professional safari guide. After a short safari briefing, depart towards Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an extensive game drive through the park, famous for large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by continued wildlife viewing before driving to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Tree Inn.

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to a high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and driving back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
