Day 01

Arrival in Arusha / Moshi

Arrival and transfer to hotel. Pre-climb briefing, gear check, and final preparations. Overnight in hotel.

Day 02

Day 02 image

Machame Gate to Machame Camp

Drive to Machame Gate, complete registration, and begin trekking through lush rainforest to Machame Camp.

Day 03

Day 03 image

Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Ascend through moorland landscapes with stunning views of Kibo Peak. Trek across the Shira Plateau to Shira Camp.

Day 04

Day 04 image

Shira Camp to Barranco Camp (via Lava Tower)

Trek to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp beneath the iconic Barranco Wall.

Day 05

Day 05 image

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Climb the Barranco Wall and trek across alpine desert terrain to Karanga Camp.

Day 06

Day 06 image

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Short but steep climb to Barafu Camp. Early dinner and rest in preparation for summit night.

Day 07

Day 07 image

Summit Day: Barafu Camp → Uhuru Peak → Mweka Camp

Midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Celebrate at the summit before descending to Mweka Camp.

Day 08

Day 08 image

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate → Return to Arusha / Moshi

Final descent through rainforest, certificate presentation, and transfer back to hotel.
