Welcome to Panama and the beginning of an unforgettable adventure. Today is all about settling in and feeling the rhythm of the city. Panama City is a fascinating mix of modern skyline, historic neighborhoods, and ocean views. Spend your time wandering the colorful streets of Casco Antiguo, walking along the waterfront at Cinta Costera, or enjoying local flavors at a café or seafood market. Take it slow, this is your first taste of Panama, and it’s just the beginning.
An early start brings us to one of the most beautiful places in Central America: the San Blas Islands. Picture tiny palm-covered islands, powder-white sand, and water so clear it looks unreal. We spend the day island hopping, swimming, snorkeling, and completely disconnecting from everyday life. Meals are freshly prepared and enjoyed right on the islands. As the sun sets, we stay overnight in San Blas, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean and waking up surrounded by pure island paradise.
Wake up to a slow island morning in San Blas, with nothing but ocean views and fresh air. At sunrise, those who wish can join an optional breathwork session by the sea, a grounding and energizing way to start the day. After breakfast, enjoy free time to swim, snorkel, kayak, or simply relax in a hammock. Later in the day, we make our way back to Panama City, bringing island memories with us.
Today we dive deep into Panama’s lush jungle landscape. Surrounded by tropical forest, we explore the stunning Nativa and Filipina waterfalls, where clear water flows into natural pools perfect for swimming. The area feels untouched and peaceful, offering a true connection to nature. During the experience, enjoy traditional Panamanian food prepared by locals before continuing on to El Valle de Antón, a charming mountain town nestled inside an extinct volcano.
El Valle de Antón is one of Panama’s hidden gems, surrounded by rainforest, waterfalls, and volcanic landscapes. Today we hike La India Dormida, a scenic trail that winds through tropical forest, past waterfalls and ancient petroglyphs carved by Indigenous communities thousands of years ago. Reaching the summit, you’re rewarded with breathtaking views over the entire valley. The afternoon is free to relax, explore town, or simply enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
Before dawn, we set out for one of the most magical moments of the trip. The La Silla hike leads us to a panoramic viewpoint just in time for sunrise. As the sun rises over the valley, the landscape below slowly comes to life, a moment that’s both powerful and peaceful. After returning, the afternoon is yours to enjoy El Valle de Antón at your own pace, whether that’s soaking in hot springs, visiting the local market, or unwinding in nature.
In the early hours of the morning, we head toward one of Panama’s most impressive hiking experiences. The reward is an unforgettable sunrise and sweeping views that make the early start worth every step. After the hike, we continue our journey toward the Pacific coast. By afternoon, we arrive in Santa Catalina, a laid-back coastal town known for its surf, sunsets, and relaxed vibe. The rest of the day is free to unwind and enjoy life by the sea.
