Mount Kenya Chogoria Route Climbing is a 6-day trek to Lenana Point (4,985m), the 3rd highest point on Mt. Kenya. It follows the Chogoria route, one of the most popular routes, known for great views on the mountain. The trek starts with a drive from Nairobi to Chogoria Gate, then hiking through forest to Lake Ellis Camp and Minto’s Camp. The climb continues to Austrian Camp with views of valleys and rocks. Summit day starts early with a hike to Lenana Point for sunrise, then descent via Shipton Camp to Liki North Camp. The trek ends with descent and return to Nairobi.
