6-day Sirimon-Naro Moru Trek Mt Kenya is a popular route combination to Lenana Point (4,985m). Sirimon route is the easiest route for ascent, while Naro Moru route is the fastest for descent. The trek starts with a drive from Nairobi to Nanyuki town. The climb begins at Sirimon gate through forest to Old Moses Camp, then continues to Shipton’s Camp with views of peaks and valleys. An acclimatization day helps the body adjust to altitude. Summit day starts early with a hike to Lenana Point for sunrise, then descent to Met Station. The trek ends with descent via Naro Moru gate and return to Nairobi.
