Ready to step out of the noise, and into a healthy rhythm?
Led by Mylène Mackay, movement teacher, wellness guide, and co-founder of Barre 2 Barre. In April 2027, Mylène brings the full breadth of her teaching to Koh Samui.
This retreat is for you if you have been running on full for a while. If your nervous system is asking for something it cannot quite name. If you know that rest, done well, is its own kind of practice.
We gather at Samahita Retreat in Koh Samui, Thailand. A space held by ocean air, steady warmth, and tropical vibrance.
Come as you are. Stay long enough to hear yourself again.

Optional daily classes for those who want to move more, alongside our concurrent Barre 2 Barre training with Mylène's co-founders (Karen and Jess)
The week is shaped by Five Element theory and meridian philosophy, so each session builds on the last, weaving theme and sequence into a deepening conversation with the body.
The morning practice is Qigong. Not as a warm-up, but as its own complete offering. Standing, breathing, moving with the energy of the day rather than against it. It works with the same meridian channels as the evening Yin practice, so the two forms speak to each other across the hours.
For those who want to go deeper, three optional workshops explore Five Element theory in more depth. Come if you feel called. Rest if you need it. Both are equally welcome here.
Seven days is enough time to actually arrive. The body needs a few days just to exhale. What follows is where the real magic happens.
Koh Samui in April is alive. A private beachfront, warm water, and the kind of tropical magic that does its own work on the nervous system.
Between practices, the day is yours. Join an optional Five Element Workshop with Mylène, or do your own thing. Kayak or paddleboard, wander to a local temple or market, or simply rest. This is a week that breathes.
The group is small by design. Mylène teaches every session personally.
Close attention, real spaciousness, and teaching that meets you where you are.
Each day follows a simple, steady rhythm.
Morning – Qigong on the beach
A gentle standing practice to wake the body, support energy flow, and ease into the day
Evening – Yin Yoga
Slow, floor-based postures held over time to release tension and support deep rest
Midday – Space to rest, explore the resort, or join optional classes if you feel called to move more
Mylène Mackay is a movement teacher and wellness guide whose work invites people back into rhythm, into breath, into themselves.
Rooted in both strength and softness, her teaching is shaped by the philosophy of yin and yang. As co-founder of Barre 2 Barre, she has spent years cultivating intelligent, energising movement, training teachers around the world and supporting them to build meaningful, lasting careers. Her approach to movement is precise, embodied, and deeply intentional.
Alongside this, through Mind Heart Mylène, she holds space for the quieter practices. Yin Yoga, Qigong, and retreat experiences that offer a return to stillness, to listening, to inner clarity. Her work is grounded in the belief that where energy flows, growth follows, and that choice, gentle and conscious, shapes the way we move through our lives .
Mylène’s retreats are an extension of this philosophy. Thoughtfully held, spacious, and transformative.
In Thailand, she invites you into a slower rhythm, where each practice becomes a conversation with the body, and each pause a doorway into something deeper.

Samahita means centered in Sanskrit, and the space lives up to its name.
Situated on Laem Sor Beach on the southern coast of Koh Samui, away from the busier parts of the island, it has been holding space for practitioners since 2003.
A 200 metre private beachfront, open-air spaces designed for practice and rest, and a kitchen rooted in Ayurvedic principles, cooking with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and genuine care. This is not a hotel with a yoga room. It is a sanctuary built around the kind of life you are here to live for a week.
There is a natural sense of community here, and enough space to be completely alone. Whether you arrive solo or with a friend, you will feel held from the start. Samahita is why we keep coming back.
At Samahita, the kitchen is as intentional as the practice.
Rooted in the principle of Sattva, purity, harmony, and balance, meals are prepared fresh daily by a team of Thai chefs who take real care. Mostly vegetarian, with pescatarian options, the buffet draws on locally grown herbs, fruits, and vegetables, many from the retreat's own organic farm.
Homemade yoghurt, fresh juices, plant-based milks, and an electrolyte drink are all made on site. Meal times are even curated to complement your practice, brunch at 10am, dinner from 6pm, so the body is never asked to digest and restore at the same time.
Food here does not fight against what we are doing on the mat. It supports it.
A complimentary buffet is offered to you during your stay at Samahita. Daily choices of plates will be served to you, with additional options spread out across the buffet. Additional protein options are prepared to order at dinner with your choice of Fish, Prawn, Tofu or Poultry.
