Arrows of Light: Sisters Archery (7 Week Program)
Reviving a Prophetic Sunnah through Strength, Stillness, and Spiritual Practice

Sakinah Retreats, in collaboration with Maydaan Archery Academy, invites you to revive the prophetic sunnah of archery in a sacred, empowering space for Muslim women. Rooted in the classical Ottoman teaching tradition — where archery was a spiritual discipline, not just a skill, this 7 week program guides sisters on a journey of embodied worship, intention, and self-mastery.

Through a deep dive into the 7 Arkan (Pillars) of Archery, participants will explore both the physical and spiritual dimensions of this noble tradition. Each session integrates technical training with spiritual exercises and reflection, drawing a powerful link between the bow, the breath, and the prayer.

Whether you have experience shooting a bow or it’s the first time you are coming in contact with archery you will find something in this course that is of benefit + you'll connect with a group of like minded sisters over the course of 7 weeks! 

When? Tuesdays 7 - 8:30pm Weekly. 

Where? Kokoda Oval, Holsworthy NSW 2173

Price: $460 (inclusive of GST)

7 Class dates: 28 April, 5 May, 12 May, 19 May, 2 June , 9 June, 16 June.

Please note there will be no class on Tuesday 26 May as a break for Eid al Adha.

Limited to 20 spots per class. Open to sisters of all ages.
