Experience the heart and soul of Chicago’s vibrant Polish community with a full day immersed in history, faith, culture, cuisine, and tradition in the legendary Polish Village. Our day begins with a guided visit to one of the grand historic churches in Chicago’s Polish Village. Known for its breathtaking architecture, ornate altars, and deep roots in the Polish immigrant story, this sacred space offers insight into the faith and resilience that shaped Chicago’s Polonia community. Next, we head to the renowned Polish Museum of America for a docent-led tour. Discover fascinating exhibits showcasing Polish art, history, military artifacts, immigrant stories, and cultural treasures that connect Poland’s past with the Polish American experience. After working up an appetite, we will sit down for a delicious Polish meal. Enjoy traditional potato pancakes, Polish sausage, stuffed cabbage, and pierogies, served with warm hospitality. Following lunch, enjoy free time to stroll and shop along historic Milwaukee Avenue. We will conclude our day with a stop at a beloved Polish bakery for a sweet treat.
