Croatia Reset is a curated experience designed to offer a more authentic way of discovering Croatia—through the eyes of a local, at a slower pace, and with space to truly unwind. This is not a typical tour. It is created for those who want to disconnect from the noise, reconnect with themselves, and engage more meaningfully with the places and people around them.
Over 10 days, guests settle into two carefully chosen locations, balancing the quiet charm of the countryside with the natural rhythm of the Dalmatian coast. The experience is intentionally unhurried, following a simple daily flow of light movement, local exploration, and time to rest. Mornings begin with gentle walks through olive groves or along the sea, while days unfold with short excursions to nearby villages, historic towns, and hidden coves—all within easy reach. Afternoons are left open for swimming, relaxing, or simply enjoying the surroundings, and evenings center around shared meals built on fresh, local ingredients.
Rather than rushing from place to place, Croatia Reset focuses on depth over distance. Guests experience everyday Croatian life—visiting local farms, spending time on the water, and enjoying long, relaxed dinners that reflect the culture of the region. Optional activities such as rafting or zip-lining in the Cetina canyon are available for those seeking a touch of adventure, but always remain just that—optional.
Throughout the journey, the focus remains on balance and well-being. Expect light, healthy, locally sourced food, daily movement of 8,000 to 20,000 steps, regular swimming, and a naturally active lifestyle. Guests are encouraged to disconnect from screens and social media, allowing for a deeper sense of presence and a more complete reset.
The goal is simple: to leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and more connected—having experienced Croatia not as a tourist, but as a temporary local.
Welcome to the Croatia Reset,
Thank you for choosing to be part of this experience—it genuinely means a lot. What we’ve created here is something simple, but intentional. It’s about stepping away from the usual pace, settling into a different rhythm, and giving yourself the space to properly slow down.
Over the next 10 days, there’s no pressure to do anything more than what feels right for you. Some days you might feel like moving, exploring, and being active. Other days, it might just be about sitting by the sea, enjoying a meal, or taking in the surroundings. That balance is really at the heart of what this is about.
Croatia has a way of drawing you into its pace—through the food, the people, and the everyday moments—and my goal is simply to create the environment for you to experience that in a natural and unforced way.
I’m really glad you’re here, and I hope you leave feeling rested, recharged, and more connected.

Arrival Day! Your flight to Zagreb should arrive between mid morning and early afternoon. Airport Transfer to city where you will meet up with the group and your guide. You will begin the tour with an easy walking tour of the capital by Secret Zagreb. The walking tour will be a light introduction to Croatia and the culture. A light dinner will follow and then moving onward to our first stay location of the trip in the middle of beautiful Istria. Svetvinčenat is our village of choice for our first part of the trip. If is from here that we will explore Istria and use the village and hotel as our base for the next 4 nights.
After a nice homemade breakfast by our hosts, we have our activities for the day.
We will start our day with a visit to a very special hidden church that houses some very important fresco paintings. This is followed by our main activity of the day, truffle hunting. Istria is famous for truffles. We will visit one famous family business, started by women, with a long history of truffle hunting. You will go with specially trained dogs to hunt for these special mushrooms. Following the hunt a special Istrian lunch will be prepared for us on the premises.
Motovun is our next destination of the day where we will walk up to the village and walk on the medieval walls. You can spend the next hours just meandering around the village at your own pace.
Heading back to Svetvincenat, you will have time to unwind.
A light dinner awaits us at their local restaurant 53 in the village.
Walking tour of Rovinj and visit to the fresh market.
Free time in Rovinj, find a quiet place for lunch.
15:00 we will be picked up by boat and taken to an island to rewind, relax, and swim.
The boat will return us at 19:00 up the Lim Canal where we will have dinner.
Today we will tour the Pula Arena. Left over from Roman times, and similar to the Coliseum in Rome. Free time in Pula to wonder and have lunch. Later we will move up the coast to the beautiful village of Fazana, where you have time to stroll, swim, and relax.
Back to the hotel for some down time before we set out for the evening at Stancija, to have a light wine tasting from wines from the area, and a beautifully curated dinner by our hostess Drazenka Mol, who has renovated and improved the grounds and interior of this beautiful place. Wines will be presented during dinner by a well known Sommelier from the area who will give us a beautiful introduction to Istrian wines.
Today we will be transported to our second home base in Dalmatia.
We will be staying near the town of Omis, centrally located in Dalmatia making everything on our agenda a 90min max tour.
Upon arrival to our villa, our chef will have dinner waiting. Dinner will be featuring two local wines and a typical light Dalmatian feast.
Here at Villa Adria Star you have the beach at your doorstep. It is located on the sea side. You will have time for a swim each day. We have a chef that will prepare most meals, and an on site massage therapist.
During our stay in Dalmatia, we have guided tours to Dubrovnik, Split, and a boat excursion. We also have leisure time built in for you to disconnect or join in activities such as white water rafting on the Cetina river, Zip lining in Omis, cooking classes and an art class, but this is all up to you.
During our first full day at the Adria Star Villa, you may choose to just lay back relax at the pool or in the sea, walk around, have a massage or join our white water rafting excursion. It is all up to you.
Today we will explore Medieval Dubrovnik, known for it´s famous surrounding walls. Dubrovnik used to be a nation itself and is also known as the pearl of the Adriatic.
We will have a local guide in Dubrovnik who will take us through the old town and up on the walls. The Dubrovnik card allows you entrance to any of the city museums.
There is free time in the afternoon to stroll or take the cable car up the mountain. Dinner is arranged at a nearby farm where we will dine al fresco with our hosts.
Today we have an island excursion.
We are picked up at our villa and taken by boat to the Island of Mljet and National Park of Mljet.
Mljet is one of the most peaceful and forested island on the Croatian Dalmatian Coast. We have a local guide at the national park who will give us an introduction. The island and national park are famous for having two lakes on the island, one of which has an island itself which is home to a monastery. Regular bikes or e-bikes are available at the national park for your use. Lunch is provided at one of the lake side restaurants introducing the white wine called Grk, which is produced only in the sandy soil of the neighbor island of Korcula.
The Cetina River brings life to this region. The delta is a large plain where almost all of the citrus fruits are grown in Croatia. Going up from the delta, we will find rafting.
How you decide to spend your day is up to you. Rafting is available and the level is low to medium. Alternatively you can tour the delta plain near Ploce, or you can have a leisure day at the villa.
Today you visit Diocletian´s famous palace in the city of Split. The city was actually built into the palace, occupying the palace as squatters built into throughout the city´s more modern times.
Explore the palace, stroll the streets in the old town, and do the "kavica" sit in a cafe for hours, soaking in the sun.
Afternoon we will visit the smaller town of Trogir. We will have a guided walking tour and dinner in this medieval gem.
