in a beautiful Costa Rica Lodge where monkeys watch us do yoga and iguanas hang out in the trees.

This is not a packed, exhausting retreat. This is a nervous system healing experience.

Over 5 days, you’ll be gently guided out of stress, burnout, and over-functioning and into calm, clarity, and connection.

This is not just a yoga retreat. It is a guided, deeply restorative experience that blends:

  • Yoga + somatic practices

  • Psychology-informed teachings

  • Guided reflection + journaling

  • Pranayama (breathwork for regulation + clarity)

  • Meaningful group connection

  • Integration planning

  • Time in nature

  • Many optional add-on experiences such as massages, horseback riding, snorkeling, etc. There is time in the schedule for you to add a few of these. I will send a list of options and pricing when you register.

Balanced with rest, you’ll experience the magic of Costa Rica:

  • Full morning at the beach

  • Cemetery Island Historical Tour (scheduled by the tides)

  • Cabo Blanco National Park Hike + Indigena Café

All afternoons are built for optimal rest. You can nap, get a massage, journal, hang out at the pool, walk to the beach.

About your organizer

Hi, I’m Dawn! I hold a Master’s degrees in Counseling and Psychology and have over 25 years of experience supporting individuals as they navigate meaningful life transitions. My work integrates counseling and psychology principles, somatic awareness, and compassionate inquiry to help clients navigate change with greater clarity and self-trust.

I am also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with over five years of teaching experience, blending therapeutic insight with embodied practice. 

As I have walked through the many ups and downs that midlife brings, I now enjoy focusing much of my work guiding people through periods of change, supporting them in reconnecting with purpose, resilience, and inner wisdom. 

And yoga brings the ancient wisdom that supports this work beautifully!
